lesson learned
by uknowit on Dec 30, 2008 09:47 AM  | Hide replies

Vaughan is kicked out by ECB, but in a smart way, and the reason is they care for cricket and for nation and dont care for the past records, like he won them ashes, BBCI should learn from them atleast to go for the one who performs but not who has records. Thanks GOD finally we got rid of DADA and Kumble, gambhir/yuvraj replaced dada and kubmle by mishra or an opned place to compitite which makes Team India stronger. May God help us (Indians) to get rid of other old horses with records and who intend to make more records and money b4 retirement at the stake of Indian pride and indian emotions. Shame on BCCI and shame on Indiand players who deserve to be thrown out.

Unfortunately knowing to read and write some English doenot stop anybody from being a FOOL or IGNORANT - so such comments on DADA surfaces at times. For your information DADA was the highest run getter in India and 2nd highest run getter in the World since his return till be retired from the game. Questions should be raised on Dravid who is miserably failing innings after innings match after match ( including domestic matches also) still happily retaining his place in the side cashing on his Marathi birth right. Even Sachin should have hung up his boots long back like Lara but greed for money keeps them all going - so please react to right context with right facts otherwise donot react at all.

The first sentence of your message is apt for you. Simply knowing a bit of English does not give you the right to pen nonsense. Yes Gabguly is unfairly criticised by many which is foolish. But how can you question the achievements of Tendulkar or Dravid. What has being a marathi or not got anything to do with that. Some one doesn't score more than 10000 runs in tests ( Tendulkar and Dravid have done that)if they are not exceptionally good. Remember Vinod Kambli. What happened to him and where is he now. So please stop writting rubbish.
