It must be a great feeling Indians ending the year on a series winning note(against England). India was certainly far superior side and Dhoni could have made it 2-0 but it's Ok the poor chaps were kind enough to come back for the Tests , why humiliate them further. The Indian side is on a high at no. 2 spot but to get to no.1 position some hard decisions will have to be taken in the next 1-2 years in respect of the composition of the "middle order". In fact the famed middle order of Dravid, Sachin and Laxman is not all that 'SOLID' as it is made out to be. Hence it is necessary that these three players be rested in rotation and youngsters given chance as structured 'succession planning' to build a younger team fit to occupy no1. position. .POSITIVES: 1.Zaheer’s new found consistency thanks to the competition from youngsters. 2.Gambhir succeeding in converting 20-30s into big scores 3.
