Both players are going to same phase. We can see the difference of their performance without Macgrath and Kumble. Both are not performing in pressure, because they are most senior bowler in the team now.

He is lucky he does not have any competition in India. Who is there to replace him? I can't think of any good off spinner right now in the Ranji circuit.
