man,wat evr crap u say...it doesn't change the fact tht Dravid is MOST selfless, greatest(after sachin offcousre) cricketer of indian cricket in this generation..u guys will realise this fact once he has gone..anyways this explanation is not for u.. its generally for dravid haters..u don't even deserve a reply.

If India Bowls out England for less than 250 then then there is a chance for India to win this match.
Test cricket is only for strong cricketers. It isnt for 20-20 mavens. Test cricket is for through breads that can score hundreads or stay at the crease for atleast a day when it counts.
Some asks that write here calling for retirement etc. have to have their head examined. If you ask thewe folks to show someone that can bat for a day or score hundreads like Dravid has done in all alien conditions, they will have to go with their tail tucked between their legs. Ignoromouses.
Today Dravid showed why he is called the WALL. Though out of form, he came out like phoenix and hopefully will lock the lips of the all the people who criticized him.
Every player has a bad phase, in his career. With this century he can be back into his confidence and prove why talent and technique matters more than luck. Today is strike rate is more than Yuvraj, Laxman, and Dhoni. Sadly i dont think anybody will notice it.
Congrats Dravid, hope to see many more centuries in the 2009.

I agreee Dravid should retire. But in this test he has shown his mettle and it is very useful.His 139 is very useful when others have made in 20s. You have to give credit where it is due.

Dravid is well past his prime as has been proved time and again. Why a different standard than Ganguly who has certainly been more consistent than Dravid.
I believe Dravid bows out on a high and it is a great time for him to go.

please dont compare ganguly with dravid just because you are a bongoly.. Ganguly was given more chances than anyone else in the world cricket. And if he has won matches as captain for india, remember that it is only because of greats like sachin, dravid n kumble. Ganguly is above all cricketers in only one respect and that is .. i need some time to think whether there is really anything.
yesterday so many pepl criticized dravid ( not gauti !! ) for his strike rate but today he scored 70 runs in 120 balls silencing his critics and india scored 106 runs in 32 overs in 1st session...and even yuvi and dhoni played slowly and cudnt score much and india cudnt reach 500...
dravid, even if he scores pepl against him simply blame him...what an irony

Rahul Dravid is India's best batsman. He has again proved it today on a bowler friendly pitch. None play better than him on fast & bouncy pitches. All other Indian batsmen are flat track bullies. They fail miserably on fast pitches. Well Done Dravid.
