Vensarkar has rightly raised an issue as a former cricketer, selection committee chairman and cricket administrator. Bindra has definitely used his clout to shift the Test venue from Mumbai to Mohali. Kolkota could have been a venue considering its prime standing as a sports loving place. But Jagmohna Dalmia's presence has, perhaps, haunted Bibdra and BCCI. Vengsarkar has raised the issue as an individual in a democratic country. I don't think he is wrong.
Vengsarkar scored nearly 7000 runs against better pace bowlers in cricket history. How many runs has Bindra scored, least of all how many tests did Bindra play for India? Has Bindra played any first class cricket in his life?
