Stanford is a stupid businessman to pay the $20 mill match. His previously conducted inter caribbean tournament was much better. in my opinion, he killed the golden duck.
Stanford had the money but not the brains and organising skills of a Lalit Modi! Add to it that the whole extravaganza was poorly marketed except for the the shocker of the prize money of 20 million dollars! As they say mere imitation does not guarantee success - you need some originality!
