Sachin you just lighted and delighted Chennaites with your 100. I listened to his Interview immediately given with pads on after the match was over with Ravi Shastri..he says "I have always said that if the Team wins the 100 is more special to me", Ravi asks "You are from Mumbai, how do u feel after all this", Sachin responds "I thanks everyone who stood up for Mumbai against the Terrorirts, the Police, Hotel staff, NSG commandos, Public"..this comes from a guy who is interviewed after a sweltering days play. I am a proud Indian first like you and you have made us Chennaites forget the monsoon rains !
Sachin is the most loved and respected treasure of India. Please don't write anything against him, The people who curse him are equal to the terrorists who attacked our country. Please live with his passion not with his few faliures. To make error is Human so he also made few errors, however if you count his contributions then no one knows how much time it will take to count them.
SO ENJOY SACHIN AS HE IS OUR GREATEST TREASURE. HE DOES NOT BELONG TO DELHI, MUMBAI,CHENNAI,KOLKATA OR ANY OTHER CITY. HE BELONGS TO OUR HEART, HEART OF EVERY INDIAN CITIZEN.

Well people can be a good critic of SACHIN as he has always proved them time and again wrong...so let there be constructive criticism...that what made the guy score 80 plus hundreds in Tests and Onedays...just the mere presence of Sachin not out yet sends shivers among opponents as he inspires other team members..he is a National Treasure...so please stop unproductive criticism..trying to vehemently show his deeds or words in bad light...he is beyond that point in his cricketing career and outside life where he has proved to be GENIUS ! Please let the fans of Sachin and beleivers of Sachin enjoy rest of his career from here as he probably has 2 to 3 years of Cricket left in him !
Hi everybody, We do not know till when Sachin will play. I am sure for onething that his greatness will be realized only after he quit the game. till then we will start blaming either sachin or the persons who blame sachin. we will forget everything and start enjoying his game as long as he entertain us. There will not be any use when we realize his absense when he is not in the game. he is not a person who will think of coming back when someone demands for it.
Sachin has set such high standards that people expect a century from him each time he goes out to bat. When he hits a century, people analyse whether that contributed to win. If it did, people come up with things like it was on a flat pitch etc etc...Guys Sachin is truly a great..This was acknowledged by none lesser than Sir Don Bradman...Fo God's sake..stop all this irrelevant debate and let us enjoy the rest of his career, which anyways will end in a couple of years
Sachin critics are a bunch of jokers. This is what i remember of sachin. He played his first match at age 16. Played 99 world cup inspite of losing his father. Took India to brink of victory against pak in chennai scoring 136.Last 5 Indian wickets contributed only 15 and India lost. Took India to final of Natwest trophy in England with centuries against England and Srilanka. Single handedly took India to finals of 2003 world cup.Bowlers gave away 358 runs in final which we lost. I am from Chennai and feel proud of Sachin's acheivements ! Our generation of the 1980's witnessed a FIGHTER who takes battles to others court and he is SACHIN. Then we had others who joined the battle like Sourav, Sehwag, Yuvraj who are fighters who got inspired the SACHIN phenomenon.
2008 has added a new feather to your already faether flooded cap - winning matches and series...now your goal seems only one - win matches for India and shut your critics ! CB series, Australia in India Test Series and now this Test against England - WOW ! You have given us a great 2008 ! God give you the POWER to GET US THE 2011 WORLD CUP ! JAI HIND !

Inadvertently, Sachin committed a bloomer.....he mentioned the role played by the NSG, the Army, the foire brigade but forgot to mention the role of the police.....i'am sure he will realize his mistake.... Neways, his interview was excellent and in addtion to his batting greatness, he has honed his public skills to a greatness too...very diplomatic and plesant in all his public speeches!!
