There is no logic of banning ICL. In fact, BCCI copied IPL from ICL. So much for the innovation from twisted-mouth Pawar and his ugly cronies. Players have the right to play or represent any club and play in any tourney as long as they do not neglect national duty. The BCCI is just misusing the powers bestowed on it. It is time Pawar and his chamchas are air-dropped in Pakistan.

They are not the last world cup winning team. Remember 20-20 wc!

lets be frank.... the bcci is a pvt body.... and if ICL is doing that good then why ask for petty pension from the BCCI. Lets be logical. How many years will we listen that pride of our nation crap..!! They are rich as it is doing tv shows and being experts in cricket matches on news channels and many are successful businessmen. If they are real sportsman then let them fight it out in the court. And why always be a cry baby!
Asking pension after joining ICL is pathetic. How can they ask for pension after being salaried employee of some other firm! Think they're going to lose the court-room battle neways.

Pensions Of ICL Cricketers
by Nadim on Dec 13, 2008 12:05 PM

It's really shame for India. Kapil has done a job which is not repeated as of now, At this time we have best 11(India) of all time. If goverment can not Interfere in BCCI's policy or anything then BCCI does not have rights to use tricolor. Is that India's team or BCCI. I think BCCI is scared of ICL, Kapil has proved again with ICL. He is a legent and give respect him as a legend or Hero... It's really shameful BCCI and Mr. Pawar, Modi.. WAKE UP..
PLS CLARIFY WHAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR INDIAN CRICKET.......

Pensions Of Cricketers
by haridas rao on Dec 13, 2008 11:23 AM

Its a shame that the greatest ever cricketer that India has produced - Kapil Dev - and his colleagues have been denied their pensions by the self seekers of the BCCi .Its a bigger shame that these players have to knock at the doorsteps of Courts for getting their just dues .

shameless BCCI
by RAJ sharma on Dec 13, 2008 10:37 AM

It's a disgrace to INDIA/INDIANS that ex-cricketers are being bullied, harassed, insulted by these sham artists running the country's cricket body as if it's is their personal company(ghar ki dukaan). It's high time the govt. should step in namely the sports minister, and stop this goondaraaj.Every player that has represented the tricolor ought to get his pension whether he follows the BCCI's guidelines or not is irrelevant,if they are retired they can do whatever they like.STOP UR NONSENSE mr. pawar,mr.modi,mr.shah@ rest of the greedy co., you guys have not nor ever will be able to do what these ex-cricketers have ACHIEVED for the country.
