by Anurag Rathore on Dec 11, 2008 12:45 PM

Dhoni will soon introduce fast bowlers. Bowl is now enough old for reverse swing.

Pretending to be a Cricket expert is good, self confidence is the essence sports,
But to predict in advance should be stopped, that too for a new spinner is foolishness

History shows english players are so weak against leg spinner.
A.Mishra has ability to trouble them. It's only my prediction, anything can happen.

All people are not same.
Some write about the past (history).
Some write about the future (predictions).

Mishra is the only spinner in IPL to have got a hat-trick. Did he not get 5 in his debut against Aus in Mohali?

Even after his great shows for Srilanka after his debut, Mendis is not still considered to be on the way to be a Warne or Murali or Kumble.
Mishras spin still need much more variety to trouble the best in business.

Congrats Akhil.........
by Anurag Rathore on Dec 11, 2008 10:27 AM  | Hide replies

I am not going to spare anybody: Akhil

Akhil Kumar is a man of his words. Before leaving for Moscow, he had said he wouldn't let the opportunity slip out of his hands. The Haryana pugilist assured India a medal on the opening day of the first AIBA World Cup on Wednesday. The Bhiwani boxer trounced Germany's Schneider Marcel 15-6 in a pool of eight boxers to make it to the semifinals. This win assured him of at least a bronze.

Confidence seems to be his strength. Not bothered about his opponents, having immense faith in his abilities is what we can see from this Indian boxer.
Anurag, Cricket has grown in such a way that other sports are now just becoming a no news for us.
Your message guided me to search for the news. Thank you.

He was unlucky in Olympic. He deserved medal rather than Vijendra. Media is hyping Vijendra, but I feel Jitendra and Akhil are better boxer than him.

I can't defend my statement about Vijendra because of lack of knowledge in boxing. But I like Akhil and Jitendra more than Vijendra because of their aggressive approach. I saw one match of each boxer in olympic. I heard about Vijendra's solid defense in media. He is not bad.
