Indians are one - Don't bring Religion
by sandesh sharda on Dec 12, 2008 06:13 AM  | Hide replies

My name is Sandesh and I apologize for the unwanted comments made by an individual in this post. We all are one (Hindus or Muslims) and religion should not be brought into this silly issue. Zaheer made a mistake, nothing more nothing less. Even Harbhajan has made mistakes. The cricketers think thay are above law and I must salute the cops for sticking to the law. No one should question muslims or hindus if they are born and brought up in India. We have had enough of this. Infact, guys like Paswan, Mayawati, Mulayam should be kicked in their butts for dividing this country. I think even Advani is guilty. We all are united and should treat each other with respect. Thanks again for reading my email.

Do you really think that Muslims who are born and brought up in India think in your line. I totally disagree.

United India?
by seejo paul on Dec 12, 2008 02:30 AM

All are talking about need of Unity of India against terror. We fail to unite even in a discussion forum. Then how can we unite in more serious issues. I am quite surprised by the fact that, a forum which is intended to talk pure cricket is full of religious arguments and needless comments which separate pupil on the base of religion. Come on guys, lets stop making comments which hurt other\'s feelings, even if Muslim\'s or Hindu\'s or Christian\'s.Let\'s talk cricket only.

But muslims in general have a tendancy to break the law, they only like jungle raj.. like in pakistan or bangladesh... probably its time Zaheer joins one of these teams

Zaheer is a brainless fellow.
by CHANDRA PADMANABHAN on Dec 11, 2008 02:28 PM

Action should have been taken against this guy. The minimum one can do is to dock his match fee and should be asked to pay a huge penalty, failing which he should be debared from playing atleast 2 Test matches.
However the Indian management has no guts and hence you get such scunks.

Zahirkhan' action
by Thomas Edassery on Dec 11, 2008 02:07 PM  | Hide replies

All should remember that no body is above the rules, and so the cricketers should allow others to enforce the civil laws. Special privileges will slowly cause unwanted results.

the real problem is that whenever someone gets the so called celebrity status, the first thing he/she assumes that the law of land does not apply as far as he/she is concerned. the cricketers have been pampered too much by media and public. always one things is said that they are playing for the country. actually they are just like any othre professional doing their job for money. as a doctor, lawyer, accountant, doing their job these players are paid to play so there is nothing special they are doing for any countrymen.

this is a great move to ensure 100% security. I didnt even know that they maintain a register of guests that is refered to whilst allowing them inside the hotels...This is really good. Good work guys...keep it up....

We should Salute Police
by SRIRAM CHANDRASEKAR on Dec 11, 2008 12:26 PM

Hats off to TN Police or who ever involved. Rules are Rules and it is for everybody. Team management should take necessary action against the cricketer who don't know discipline . Everybody should take this action very very very seriouslly.
