v used to play 7 bat when v had 4 gr8s like sachin, dravid, saurav, laxman. v cudnt drop anybody thats y, v played with 7 bat (2 openers n 4 middle order with 1 keeper-bat) n 4 bolrs.
but now with saurav out from the 4 middle order, ind has got good opportunity to go with an option of selecting 5 bolrs n 6 bats. just try it. 5 bolrs required in tests to take 20 opposion wkts. dont include yuv as 7th bat, as even otherwise, loading team with 7th bat is meaningless.
yuvi is a lucky guy the number chances he is getting to prove himself in test cricket is much more than even Mumbai players get
ganguly retired,otherwise yuvi had to wait for some more time to get in to test team other players like badri,rohit r equally talented as far as Test cricket is concerned but yuvi gets it 1st really luck guy

Why cricket is telecasted so much!! Why the hell all the sports channels have opened a cricket channel of their own??! What is the point....!! Are they trying to bore us to death!! The news channels are also too inane... One series and the hundreds of newschannels of India go absolutely berserk. BCCI should actually reduce the no. of tests India plays a year. In that way we might live out this boredom. And please more overseas tours...!!

Simply because, it is badri's home ground, he should come in? Boss what logic! So if india plays in kolkata, which bengal player should come in?

they should have included vijay and gambhir can come in one down, rainy season and morning dew will help pace , let us see the opening pair how much they score particularly india

Sehwag and Gambhir are playing very well of late, so it won't be wise breaking such a successful opning stand. If Dravid fails in the first test then Vijay can replace him in the second.

Badrinath has higher stake than Vijay to replace any middle order batsman if he is not in form. Vijay will get in only in case of any opener declared unfit.
