I have been following Lee's career for atleast last 6-7 years and feel that honestly his performances have not matched his potential. One reason could be that for some time, there were other bowlers like McGrath, Warne, Gillespie etc. who were also wicket taking bowlers and hence Lee didn't have much scope to do better than what he has actually done.
Paradoxically, when such lead bowlers left the scene a year or so ago, Lee hasn't perhaps had the peak of his physical fitness.
Though now he has good chances to achieve a few personal mile stones (especially after his 5 wicket haul, after a long gap, against NZ in the last home series) I am always a votary of team performances and team wins than personal glory in a team sport like Cricket.
