i agree satish.
so many good players performing with these teams. but selectors donot look at them. cheteshwar pujara is the one latest sensational bat riding high with 3 tripple centuries, n 3 big hundreds in just 40 days. ravindra jadeja hero of the junior wc team of 2008, n of rajasthan royals in ipl. sidharth trivedi, the medium pacer, unsung hero of saurashtra team reaching the semis last year n the contributor of rr team in ipl.
mohnish parmar the new young offie touted as the big talent in the spin deptt by kirsteen(!).

Parthiv Patel is from Baroda, so are Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan.
Zaheer Khan used to play for Baroda but has shifted to Mumbai.
Even Munaf Patel belongs to Gujarat, but is playing for Mumbai.
In good old days, Kiran More and Nayan Mongia (again from Baroda) represented India.
An all rounder called Dhiraj Parsana from Saurashtra played a lone match for India, only to be dropped by the irrepressible Sunny, who takes the credit for dropping of many players like that during his days as captain - M V Narasimha Rao (Hyderabad), Yajuvendra Singh (Maharashtra), T E Srinivasan (TN) etc.
You are true to the extent that one has not heard of any player from Gujarat representing India in tests or ODIs in the last three decades.
