Kaif victim of politics
by ramjirao on Dec 05, 2008 03:10 PM

why are good players being sidelined in the hope of destroying their confidence. Kaif is better than all the Pujaras. next season it will be rehana then some other badre or some kulkarni keep trying all the jokers and destroy the real talent.
Where is TP srivastava of UP who is an opener he us yards ahead of Rohit sharma and badrinath who are being given numerous chances

Sachin / Laxman / Dravid are they required
by J Jena on Dec 05, 2008 02:20 PM  | Hide replies

Without getting into the controversy, whether they are great or not, are these 3 senior citizens genuinly required against England?

1. England is a weak team, which was squarely beaten in the ODIs without the service of these 3.
2. Opportunity for promising youngsters to show mettle. Poor Chateshwar Pujara could have scored tons of runs.
3. What about future, these 3 are beyond 35 now, how long they want to block space?
4. Rich pool of talent which has been knocking at the door and has been proving since T 20 WC, will be lost if we don't bring in rotation.

There should be a rotation policy for seniors also....like only 2 seniors can be in the playing 11 in any particular match....That way it will be a win-win situation for everyone.

You fff. How can u replace sachin with pujara. Ok sachin has reached 36 years of age. But how can u daam replace the worlds best batsman. pujara is also a good player, scored heavily, but right now cant replace sachin. the test team is overbooked with likes of world class batsman like sachin, dravid, laxman with whom teams all over the world are afraid. pujara can be tested in one dayers instead of virat kohli. what do you say !

i think, v shud gv chances to young talent even in tests. just like against bangla n also against eng (appears weak team), v can try them out.
a rotation policy wud b more appropriate so that our main players also get much needed rest n other bench strength also gets much needed match exposure.
