MOVEMENT in Bangalore - Today Dec 3 5:30 PM BE THERE
by BloreCitizen on Dec 03, 2008 04:01 PM  | Hide replies

Hello all Bangaloreans on this board,

In wake of the recent Mumbai terror attack, we will be protesting against bad governance and bad politics at ANIL KUMBLE CIRCLE, MG ROAD, BANGALORE. We are sorry for the late notice, but it HAS to begin TODAY

- because Manmohan is here - he is not in Delhi, he is not in Mumbai, he is very much here in Bengalooru. This is NOT an opportunity to be missed.

- because Bengalooru is arguably the second most important economic and cosmopolitan centre of India after Mumbai, and we are likely to be a target soon if nothing is done.

- to show solidarity with fellow citizens protesting in Delhi and Mumbai.

We will stand there, show posters and shout slogans.

This is the drive to clean up INDIAN POLITY, INDIAN BUREAUCRACY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY INDIAN PUBLIC SPIRIT!! Be there - this may be the last chance for you and your family!

Pass on this message. Thank you!

JAI HIND!!
INQUILAAB ZINDAABAD!!

hi,
I am deepak...well, I love my country as you and always thinks that it's we (common people) who can make a change rather than dependent on any party. afterall, it's we who dies in every blasts/attacks and not politicians. I really want to do something for my country before it's get more wounded. I am really looking for those people, who believes in this thinking, that "every individual can make a difference". why don't we people come openly and discuss what shuld be done to save our country rather than just chatting on discussion forms.
"India is my religion"; spread LOVE not hate

INTERNATIONAL CRICKET BOARDS & BCCI IN LEAUGE TO LOOT INDIAM PUBLIC
by VIVEK on Dec 03, 2008 04:00 PM  | Hide replies

Whether people die or live in India, BCCI & other international cricket boards are keen to play in India and loot Indian public, as all cricket boards get their share of buty from IPL. Infact Australian cricket Board has 25% equity stake in IPL.

People should not waste their money to be lloted by cricket boards across the globe.

No to Cricket
by Bhaumin Shah on Dec 03, 2008 03:57 PM

We do not want to overcome the attacks. We want first find out why it happened and what are we going to do to try and prevent it from happening again, before we even think about celebrating. The sensible majority of the nation should say NO to cricket until we say solid actions from the govt. We want to make sure we do not forget this incident that easily. And once we give in, we start to forget. And always remember whose pockets is cricket going to warm anyway, Sharad Powar and Lalit Modi right. Its going to do no other good.
