I think we do not give opportunities to our own people.Hence they go and settle abroad.I think in that sense we are the worst people doing harm to our own people.

its not that such persons left ind for ignorance of their talent in ind. but rather they left ind for the 'so-called' betterment (financial!!) but now showing their talent in sports field as well. that needs appreciation.

He will not place in Gujrat or Baroda 11. He will struggle to get a chance. Last year son of one of our famous politician who plays cricket was awarded best sports person for the state.
Dear Indians.. Samit Patel plays for England and NOT India. Indian flag isn't hoisted anywhere in the world apart from the embassies and high commissions. So stop such stupid sentiments towards athletes from Australia, England, South Africa etc with a hindu surname.
