Only God would have a test average of 100 I feel, so Don's rating should be 99.94. So he isnt God. First comes God, then comes Don. Wouldnt that sound logic?
i only said that the researcher is mad. How did he know that there were exactly 4 runs missing not 5, not 50, not 100..... they people just wanna to make history.
Having read the comments of people,I feel that many people have a complex for not appreciating some one as great as Don. If only these guys had closely observed some of the video footages available of his games... you will appreciate that in those days he didn't have sofisticated heavy bats/chest guards/arm guards/head gear/pads/footwear as we have today for protecting you from the fury of Fast bowlers who believed in destroying the batsman. It was by his sheer footwork/technique/timing & grit that he was able to score runs. Rightly He may not have played for records as remunerations were not worth mentioning for cricketers in those days, unlike players of now who should have retired from the game long back rather than waiting for their endorsement periods to expire.
Instead of criticising & finding fault, Take it as a challenge. Of course, You may never out perform Don, please try to be some where in the close vicinity of his Test ave of 99.94.
Glad Don is not alive to read all these comments.May his soul rest in peace. If some one is trying to do research
I think he wants publicity. If Bradman wanted 100 avg. he would have played one or two more matches. How he finds now? Where he HELL all these years? Didn't have time to research? AUSSIES are NO.1 CHEAT & FRAUD IN THE WORLD. Oops IN THE WHOLE 9 PLANETS
if the stats are proven then this would be like something which people hypothize nad consider the impossible.
But sometimes reality is more astonoshing than fiction.
Cheers to the researcher this kind of determination to delve into the details of minute accuracy to revela the missing "four runs" to complete the 99.96 makes you think. Isn't it!!
