India has no experience in developing cricket in another country they messed things up nicely with Kenya....infact BCCI remains the most corrupt in world cricket. Frankly the Canadian are better off with a mix with AUSSIE MANAGEMENT, Pakistani bowling coaches and India Batting coaches, that would be the best way to go. India by herself has turned cricket into a pure commercial and betting game which does help a nacent developing cricket nation, basics, if the canadian are to be good at them they need an AUSSIE HEAD COACH, 2 PAKI BOWLING COACHES and an INDIAN BATTING COACH. They will be just fine if they heed this advise.
We can help any upcoming country to help at our best. Like that, we have to collect so many foreign teams to participate in the cricket, so that a day will come to include the Cricket Sport in Olympic atleast by 2020
Its a good move by Canada. India definietly has talent and more importantly it has the passion. Developing teams like Canada need that passion which countries only from the Subcontinent can provide. There are other (non playing) reasons which are stopping India from doing well in the game, this should not be an excuse to say that India cannot help a team like Canada. India even if it is not doing that good, is a major contributor to the development of the game. One best example is IPL. It created a whole new passion for the game of cricket.
It is funny. Why canada seeks help from a country which cannot help itself in the game. The only advantage india having is the large population loving cricket and hence the large amount of money it creates. If canada needs help in coaching, they should approach australia or SA. "Canada needs expertise of Indian coaches and Test players to help the country in achieving excellence in this game". But India is importing coaches from abroad and our veteran former players are sitting in the commentary box and telling jokes.
it is really foolish move by canada. they must have been misguided. instead of taking advice from indian cricketers, they should contact Gangsters of our country who knows better how to use cricket BAT.
