by Anurag Rathore on Aug 13, 2008 05:19 PM  | Hide replies

In last 12 months India and Pakistan batsman are performing so well comparison to other teams and Australian bowlers are bowling so well comparison to other teams.
All three teams are in same group.
Tough competition in Group A.

Champions Trophy

I hope no players from any country pull out of the Champions Trophy. If that happens it will not be much different from that including Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.

Group of death !!!!!!
by Anurag Rathore on Aug 13, 2008 11:55 AM  | Hide replies

Tough group for India.
Australia is world champ.
Westindies team is so strong on flat wickets in ODI. We have seen in last champions trophy.
Pakistan has home advantage and also so strong on flat wickets.
SA, Eng and NZ are not so strong in subcontinent in comparison to our groups team.
We can't think who will be top 2 teams of our group. But in other group most probably SA and Sri Lanka will be qualify for the semi.

Yes, u r right. We all know how Aus play their game. They will be a certainity. I dont see WI making any impact though. But, definetly it will be tough fight between India and Pakistan. I also feel when it should be a double round league phase when tough teams compete with each other which would provide more chances of better team qualifying for the next round.

Chris Gayle is tough guy in subcontinent. On his day no one can beat WI.
WI can spoil the party of favourite team.

May be.....but, apart from him there is no other batsman for them who can change the state of the match quickly. Sarvan and Chanderpaul are good batsmen but no one can say that if they get 100 WI will win for sure. Lets hope Gayle doesn't come good this time around.

India has edge over Pak, because they have beaten Aus recently.
Aus, India, SA, Sri Lanka are favourite for semi.
G.Smith, M.Hayden will be tough for any team.
