i think both their capt n their board decided not to try this referrral system in the series. before the start of series, playing conditions hv to b worked out to accept the new system.
Extremely good innings by Graeme Smith yesterday. He was the difference between both the sides yesterday. Great display of grit and determination. Although he was given a reprieve by the umpire when he was in fact out of Monty's bowling, he capitalized on it very well. It has to go down as one of the best innings ever by any captain in Tests!!!!!!!
The captaincy show by South Africa Captain is really praise worthy, why not he solidifies his innings from the beginning and make his team to taste the victory. After Ricky & Mahela, he is Captain who by himself can take his team singlehandedly to victory. South Africa after Hansie got him at the right time. However Prince is also another option for them. Best wishes to them for their cherished victory.
Smith played a fantastic innings to guide his team to victory. 93/4 is a very dangerous position and if SA lost this they would have been kicking themselves.
