Disciplinary Action Reg.,
by Abdul Khader on Apr 29, 2008 06:35 PM  | Hide replies

I am sursprised how come Sreeshanth was left without penalising., He was sledging in alomost all the matches he played till date. Even in the IPL match where the controversy took place with Harbajan, He is not mad enough to slap only Sreeshanth, why did he not slap any one else. This is the qustion Farook Engineer should ask him self before releasing his verdict against Harbajan.

I am not supporting Harbajan, in our National Team only these TWO players were mis behaving with the opponents.

If letting off sreeshanth, it is one sided decision, not encouraging.

Harbhajan used to slap other players also in the dressing room. Fearing shame, others kept mum.

In this case Harbhajan could not wait till reaching dressing room. Poor shreeshant wept like an idiot in public instead of kicking his balls out.

Speed's forced leave
by HariOm Chawla on Apr 29, 2008 05:55 PM

From all indications, it is apparent that Speed had sounded about ICL's letter for recognition by ICC, which our BCCI bosses did not like. I fail to understand why ICL should not be officially acepted when IPL has been given a respectable status. ICL is just club cricket like IPL. There should be no differentiation.

Secular India
Zimbabwe
by Secular India on Apr 29, 2008 05:27 PM

Zimbabwe is a very important part of vote bank politics of both BCCI and the "quota" board members of South African Cricket board. They are willing to look at the absolutely ridiculous state of affairs in Zimbabwe which used to give some of the best players in the past and now cannot put up a team that can beat Matunga XI !! It would be in fitness of things currently that it would not surprise anyone if Robert Mugabe becomes the President of ICC in the name of Third World African solidarity...

Speed's exit
by sk singhal on Apr 29, 2008 03:14 PM

We must remeber how speed handled the issue between Newzeeland and India. He always had taken side against Indian Cricketer. He himself was not transparent in his decision. His exit like this is evident and we indian should appreciate the boards decision

Mani became the latest critic of the ICC board, which has come under fire after Speed was placed on paid leave on Friday until the end of his contract in July after falling out with president Ray Mali and other board members.
