CHECK WHO HAS SHINED SO FAR IN IPL AND WHO IS NOT
by vaibhav kumar on Apr 29, 2008 07:29 PM

I like to give the fellow colleagues here my list of players who has shown spark:

1. Ravindra Jadeja (do not know why Warne not using his bowling prowess)
2. M. Gony (fast bowler from Chennai)
3. Dinesh Salunke (if you for the moment think beyond, Piyush Chawla, he is the man).
4. Abhisek Nayyer (probably needs to be sent up in the order for Mumabai).
5. Ashok Dinda (from Kolkata)

There are also few FLOPPERs with repo and little to deliver
1. Ashish Nehra (Mumbai)
2. B. Akhil (Bangalore)
3. Musavir Khote (Mumabi)
4. Murali Karthik (Kolkata)
5. Rahul Dravid (Bangalore)
6. Ronchi

Very surprisingly, not many promising spinners are included in the franchise teams, an area where INDIA is struggling a lot. The tpye of platform this is, it would have helped them a lot.

I FELT THAT LEFT ARMER IN ICL WERE BETTER BOWLERS THAN LIMITED SPINNERS WE HAVE SEEN IN PIL DO FAR.

EXCITING MATCHES SO FAR, BUT NOT MANY SHINING FROM INDIA. YES, THERE IS LOT TO COME.

:-) Like in the Melbourne T-20?
Great. Incidentally it wasn't even 83 as order order so generously mentions. It was 76.
One more than the lowest ever T-20 score.
So let's see what happens to the hurricane.
All the best!

Dear Mr Nish/Dear Nish, If you have balls yourself then please can you answer to the points raised by me?This post was in response to some one who called sachin ,saurav and dravid jokers and was claiming Dhoni did well in australia withou them
Can you negate my points about the media fiasco that Dhoni created after coming back from Australia and dont try to put your own words and ascribe them to me, I never said that, and about sehwag and Yuvi, I merely said i believe they have mature head above thier shoulders thats my observation. you have every right to disagree ,but instead of a logical argument you resorted tou abuse in a public forum!!!Just because you are Hiding behind an ID does not maku you immune to the fact that these actions in a public forum actually is reflective of your parental ubringing and background, you level or lack of education(SHIKSHA) and therefore lack of capacity to express your self cohesively backed by sound logic.to abouse is easy its not rocket science but to refrain from abusing does reflectve positively on your upbringing!!Sorry for the delayed response because i just had time to open rediffjust now. Again what was Dhonis scores in australia in test matches and ODIs? Can any onegive a detailed accont of all the scores Can you mrNish

Winning formula!
by mar gaya on Apr 29, 2008 06:01 PM  | Hide replies

What should be done to convert Mumbai Ghaatis from a losing team into a winning one. Simple, feed all their players: vada paav, paav bhaaji, usal paav, misal paav, and srikhand. They will immediately start winning.

Ganguly was damn lucky as captain...
by Dhananjay Kumar on Apr 29, 2008 05:53 PM  | Hide replies

If bongs/others call it as good luck of Dhoni, then Ganguly was too damn lucky. In fact, I doubt if lady luck during that period was a BONGALI....

Dhoni is not lucky, but cunning, courageous and cool.

He is going to surpass all the numbers (I won't call it any records whatever set by Ganguly) by past India captains.

junk royal challengers
by santoshkumar dattatray bhat on Apr 29, 2008 05:03 PM  | Hide replies

It was due to happen. Dhoni is once again a winner.20 20 is not fit for dravid. He should retire from all forms of cricket. Royal challengers and mumbai indains will be the first two teams that will be knocked out from IPL. With Dhoni being at the helm Chennai superkings will definately come to finals. Yesturday from no where they produed the result from the loosing position. This shows the excellent tactics of dhoni to rotate the bowlers around in a proper situation. Even with all the poor bowlers he is managing the win.
His batting was also crucial in deciding the fate of the match. Overall shocking result once again for RC.

ponting also a failure in ipl matches should he retire?
Yesterday match was well fought and dravid's captaincy was good most of time RCs was under control of match one bad decision turned game for dhoni teamThings are not going in way for dravid it does not mean that he is no good for T20
Dravid declared unfit for odis, but he scored 10ks runs batting in diff position, also highest catch holder for india
Dravid declared unfit to lead team he as a captain had highest winning average in odis just less than 2 yrs of tenure as a captain
DHONI IS LUCKY CAPTAIN SO FAR A SUCCESSFUL JOURNEY AS CAPTAIN.
10ks runs in odis batting for No 1 to 7, highest Catch holder for india highest winning average as odi team captainin less than 2 yrs tenure as odi team captain, twice selected as ICC odi team player , part of odi World Playing XIteam, highest run getter in 1999 WC
IS it joke?
has dravid purchased by mallyas money???

All good things have to end one Rahul Dravid cannot be an exception. I find all the yougsters of Dhonis team are doing well in T20, wherever they are. This vidicates Dhonis stress for youngsters. I think all the seniors, Rahul, Kumble, Sachin, Saurav and Laxman should withdraw from T20 with dignity before they get thoroughly humiliated by the younger lot.

The one good T20 player in RC is Jaques Kallis. He can be absorbed either in Chennai or in Mumbai. Indeed RC can be junked. RC is a good test team.

yesterday when umpi gave woong LBW decision the match turned to dhoni's team othethan nothing magic dhoni did... it was aussies players who contributed to CSKs success more than dhoni's performance as batsman or wkt keeper or captain he is media poster boy and K Srikant and Ajadeja praised dhoni with double tonge while did not bother mention that was not out when he was given out INSTEAD MEDIA IS TELLING DRAVID GOT DUCK
BIASED MEDIA AND CRIC EXPERT.easy to criticse and blame players like draavid and laxman bcuz they are less flameboyuant and never goes to media blabering what dhoni ganguly tendulkar do..
CSKs will be tough for upcoming matches
