these bl...dy whites are turning to racism when the time comes for them to step down...they are happy when they r occupying plump positions against asian/african countries.these rascals are used to dominate all world as if its their fiefdom
He now identifies RACISM in the roots of ICC and its administration. But under his own tenure, he was deep asleep to these notions while they loomed large in the cricket world, for the masses to see. And after he left, he was still sleeping while Speed shepherd the heard he left behind with his preached Racist ways, and today when Speed is getting the kick on the behind, Gray has jumped out of his beauty sleep to say this smeels of racism!! Argh what a DOG!
Malcom Gray along with Mike Denness had been the most racist official at ICC which was proved by his stance during the controversial Test match in SA in 2001.
I am glad Malcolm Speed resigned. He was courageous and honest, and could not be part of a group that sweeps the financial irregularities of Zimbabwe under the carpet. He also could not see why ICL should be banned, just because it does not suit BCCI. Cricket is finished now thanks to BCCI and Ray Mali.

i don't know but a lot is being said about BCCI and use of money and power. The problem here is, go back to the days when decisions were taken by Speed n Gray contingent, they have been no god-send messengers either. No one is a saint here, and with there Racial ways, they are reaping what they have sown. And go BCCI if its behind all this to give them a stick. Sorry to say stop whinging you all.
As is evident, the white monopoly and a century of racism is ending and the bigots are using India's ascendency and money as an excuse to complain where the real reason is their partiality and policies are accountable. Instead of vague complains about money and power, we would like to know concrete issues and we can cite many such issues when Speed acted as an azzhole. BCCI achieved through IPL what ICC has not achieved in 100 yrs. So the faction seeing their monopoly ending is crying foul. Dont these people have any shame??

you are wrong dear...Sport is alsways sport.Dont mix it with politics...Who will performe will get the man of the match award. IF you want to make a Big line small then draw a bigger line besides that not just remove it..ok Hope you understood what i said!!!

Look Mr. Sharma, if you hate BCCI and politics so much, try imagining a world without politics but you know what, even Speed n Gray were thick n deep into politics themszelves. What you think only BCCI and other parties such Ray Mali are the Baddies in this equation? Think again, there is a good chance that you might be mistaken too, or rathr maybe "mislead". If you think Media gives you the best and most reliable info on these things then think again. I doubt anyone in this world who has followed Speed n Gray's tenure would deny that they have really suppressed the other cricketing nations and have supported white policies very boldly. Anyhow, things have changed for good now and i hope you and people like you will be enlgihtened one day, hopefully sooner than later.

and to add to this, i don't see why Zimbabve cricket union is such a big issue. Get everything sorted and put money into the system (which by the way BCCI has done anyway), still the Zimbabweans will not rise high. It will require them the time they need to recover and in due time that will happen, yest here is crisis but don't just blame it all on BCCI, money n power!

SO? By this logic you ant to justify the mishandling of money by Zimbabwe and screwing their cricket is acceptable for sake of power. Power should be used with proper senses. Aim should be betterment, not screwing up.
RE:RE:No surprise in reactions
by Mike Behrenger on Apr 29, 2008 05:07 AM
and why is BCCI accountable for this screw up? after all Gray, Speed, and whoeevr else has been heading ICC are responsible largely.
Let,s get the facts clear! If you call BCCI professional and with people of integrity-it's laughable!!! Argubaly-Speed was typically Australian-point blank,"rude",,but not totally ineffective. The centre of power has shifted to India-but that doesn't mean our BCCI jokers are professional and have the interest of Indian cricket at heart!Just see the Tour schedule, state of stadiums in India, infrastructure and spectator facilities. Inspite of the huge money, things have not improved dramatically-while the office bearers seem to have turned wealthy 'Suddenly'---G.muralidhar
RE:Exit of Speed

Which office beraers have turned wealthy SUDDENLY Murali? I am not sure who you referring to? Besides, being wealthy or not is not an issue anyway, whats an issue is who do you think is professional in cricketing world, nominate those and raise a petition for them to take up responsibilities! Start with this forum, why don't you? As far as BCCI goes, stop pointing a finger at those who are in a position where they are the envy of the world just because of their own financial accolades. Forget outsiders, why are you INDIANS agaisnt BCCI your own cricket board you fools? What, do you want ACB to head your cricket in the country? You think they will do a better job? I mean grow up and learn to accept what you are born to live in. Even if yo uare not an Indian, Sri Lankans, Pakis and even Bangladesh should be in support of BCCI who has financially and politically supported these nations thus far whenever they were able to. Like any other board has cared about these nations otherwise? But thats all going to be forgotten, why? Becasue BCCI has lot of money which is not in your own cricket board's pockets? Sad! this whole issue of blaming BCCI etc is just a never-ending saga. Keep on barking you lot...soon time will tell who was outrightly wrong and who was not so wrong after all.

Speed was arguable VERY Racist! And also, he was not just "rude" but a big scum at that! And you think he was NOT TOTALLY INEFFECTIVE, what was so effective about him? The resurgence of Australia winning matches with 2 umpires in their pockets??? Open you eyes that are still wide shut mate!
I have seen Australians, be it professionally or otherwise and I find them immensely rascists. Indians in general are not rascists, they are very neutral. Exceptions, by the way, prove the case. In case of India, (most of them) non-rascists are never in vision, leave alone limelight. It's the rascists who are in the limelight.

Anjana you seem to be talking form experience. Well i reside in Sydney and i agree with you very much about Aussies.

True - we typically lick white asses and kick the black ones. That sort of evens out - 1 and -1 makes it zero racism.

Well Indians are racist as well. How many Indians pay respect to a black person, and what about castism in India. There is nothing wrong in looking at full picture.
RE:Australians are rascists
by Mike Behrenger on Apr 29, 2008 05:20 AM
castism is a local issue and thats a problem among extremists, but then again you have EXTREMISTS n FUNDAMETALISTS in every country! But RACISM is different, and to experience it you need to lvie in a world outside india. you will know very soon what it is for people who come from the sub-continent.
