If it is true that Speed is joining the IPL, it only shows how strong is the lure of the filthy lucre and how weak the rest of the issues-like the other australian players like symonds, hayden etc.. The guy who till now lost little opertunity in trying to deck the BCCI isquite anxious to join a BCCI promoted event!!!!!!!!
ICC make the perfect decision for removing and send Malcom speed for forced leave due to these reasons. 1)He put all his efforts behind to make the comeback of Darel Hair the most controversial umpire against Asian criciketers 2) He is not trying to remove Sunil Gavaskar from ICC elite post. Shame on you Malcom Speed and good that you good this type of treatment from ICC.

I think you have got it wrong raj malhotra. It is Ray Mali, the ICC President, who openly gave a statement in court in favour of Darrel Hair that led to his comeback.
While not particularly defending Malcolm Speed here, one must say that the others now left in charge of the ICC are far worse. One can only pray now for the well-being of the game because the administation is going to the dogs.....

untill now thw honorary "whites" in world cricket were the west indians and this is vclear by the record of wesi indies board record of voting patterns and the demand that west indies be paid special extra guarantees over and above the normal reciprocalnes that govern the tours of national cricket teams till now.Ever since the entrenchment of the Australia specific and cricket australia's kowtowing malcolm speed at the helm of affairs, the cricket world has seen a number of decisions and rulings against the asian boards and asian players. It is a laudable - indeed - an occasin worth celebration that Speed had got his due. His last action of trying to get rid of Gavaskar only because gavaskar was rightfullt and justifiably critical of events in Australia in th India Auatralia series is the last straw. A WELL DESEVRED LONG DELAYED ACTION . HURRAH for it no matter what the ultimate resons.

I think they should dance nude insted of semi. I hope then the ticket collections will zoom, and more money can be kept aside for cricketing development.

Speed loosing because he was agaunst what the wrong doing is happening in Zim. It's very clear situation overe there. Speed is right but he don't have good political support, so as usual have to leave.
Pawar and BCCI will convert Cricket into a Gamblers Paradise .... and that is what Indian Politicians are capable of....turning anything and everything into LOOT BUSINESS.
Speed should be chucked. The guy is a racist. Hates Indians. Said doesnt care about BCCI's financial strength. Taught a lesson. In Cricket India is what is USA to the world. Dare not.
