It was a happening night. Stadium stands with no shades. Dusty pathetic pitch. And to top it all, lights go out :) ... is it to showcase modern Kolkata to the world ;)

Kolkata does not showcase anything, the world comes running here - such is its attraction. Even with all the disasters, ppl enjoyed 1000 times more than in Blr. Ask all the Bollywood stars present. They went on to party at Dublin after the game till 6:30am with all players. Ponting and McCullum were the last ones to leave.

You got some guts to stand up for Kolkata. Kolkata is one dump of a city. The only thing worse than the city is its people. Lazy, corrupt, inefficient & useless. Some examples - Only city where speed post gets delivered in a week. (Most time the mail gets lost) - Only city where at a traffic signal its green for a right turn from opposite sides. :) Gosh its pathetic. Just look at the roads, the civic sense, the traffic chaos. What more can you expect from a populace that votes "debauched" commies even if they are screwed time and again.
After the change of guards at CAB, it was all shame.. Washed out match with srilanka when suppr suppers were unavilable to clear the ground, dead pitch against pakistan Test (5 centuries in that Test) and lastly this shocker ptch and darkness hours, why would that arrogant Prasoon M still hold the post ??

Really,no suppr suppers were available in match with srilanka.It can't get worst for cricket.the only way the admin will improve is when this venue will be banned for 5 years.
even a dull draw on flat wkts, with not a single innings completed in 5 days, doesnt draw such a flak from ckt fraternity. y do ppl r against the bowler friendly wkt. r the much over-hyped baters afraid of scoring runs against bowlers on supportive pitch.
Yes Rambo the low caste son of a mali knows much about pitch preparing. This anti Saurav guy must be hanged in public. This shitworthy person does not have even that much of logic that Saurav himself was a victim of bad pitch and a bad pitch could go either way. A sick mind and sick brain can not think beyond that.
