I've watched some of Rahane's innings and can safely say that he is the future "wall" of Indian Cricket. I just hope that the selectors show faith in him and give him ample opportunities to shine. He is suspect against the new ball, but has an impressive temperment and a wide range of strokes. Needs to be groomed and preferably kept away from T20 until he fully develops his technique.
I think IPL is a good Platform for Youngsters like Ajinkya But All International Players should make way for them.I mean Batting Order should be such that these youngsters should get a chance.Sachin Should never open innings for Mumbai Indians.He got to Understand the tournament is for youngsters and they have killing instinst.

IPL is not for the youngsters please try to understand. It is for the Sponsors & Corporate World. If The Cricket greats like Sachin & Jaya Surya donot play up front. You cannot draw huge crowds to the Stadiums. Therefore they fancy their chances to popular cricketers up front. What do you say buddy?

Its not that its for sponsors only. Have you ever watched any other domestic league as you are watching IPL. its only to give popularity to domestic cricket. mind you only 4 foriegn players play in each team while on field.
