At the end of the day, Sourav Ganguly may just about walk away with the honours becuse of his better captaincy skills, his ability to extract the maximum from his players & his ability to transform potential into performance.

Dravid is surely going to lose this one.

Big loss to sponsors
by Maheshkumar Venigalla on Apr 18, 2008 06:33 PM

This concept is not clicked as it is a game of state spirit with few world class players. It is exciting when there is cricket between two countries as People are watching cricket with great patriotism. So People are so nervous and thrilling when cricket is between India Vs Pakistan, Aus Vs Eng. I wondered how big sponsors were trapped in this game.

That PLI
by Your well wisher on Apr 18, 2008 06:13 PM

Indians like me do not watch this bloody IPL cricket for the love of the sport but out of national pride. "There is no Team India to which the audiences can relate. After all, it is national pride that has made cricket and its heroes. I bet IPL could prove to be a negative distraction for international players as they could end up preferring to play in private leagues than for their national teams.

My question is why d hell did they choose India for sucking there crores of Money ? Why India ?
Go to some other Rich Country .... India needs attention in other sectors to become a super power ... If one is so interested arrange for OLYMPICS .. like China

Then for the shake of problem close all cinema halls, marriage parties, TV serials and all other sprots. All are useless things to spend on.
Be in reality dear. I don't understand why are people comparing this to National team games. It is purely a club cricket and like English league and watching or not is your personal decision. Why to blame BCCI for this or relating this with other problems is beyond understanding.
