these players are commenting on the ipl just cause they don't hve a chance to play in this league as they are to old... and if they wld hve got a chance to play they wld hve been the first to go ahead lick the shoes of the bcci so tht they cld get in the team.huh.. y cant these players see the happiness of other players.. if other players are ready to play in the ipl these oldies shld not hve a problem...SO just shut the F up!!!!!!!
I say, dump this sh*t and make it T0 instead of T20 (if one could go from Tests to 50 overs to 20 overs - its not a big deal to make the leap to T0); decide the match on a toss while the players and spectators swill beers and bang some of the cheerleaders on display...that's how shallow this bull-crap is. Anyone that has a problem with it, can stay home and suck on ur momma's nipples..
i just want to tell that why all these posts go beyond the right track. It is true that there should be a fine line so that both private leagues and international series go side by side.And i am sure both BCCI & ICC are capable to control things accordingly.As far as spectators are concenred, we love cricket and love to see IPL also, but there is no denying the fact that when India plays and wins against other countires the joy is limitless and all our players are first indians and they also feel proud to be a part of indian team, so we should not be worried about our players' commitment.Both IPL and International series could go side by side, no harm in it.But, yes too much T20 is not a good sign so the concerend authorities must look in to it.
I am not a paranoid Paki-basher who calls everybody who tells me uncomfortable truths as a Paki!! But Miandad had his daughter married to the son of the most wanted terrorist on Indian soil.
What moral high-horse is he climbing and shedding crocodile tears for Cricket for...and the spineless, characterless Indian media reports it. Shameful!!!
Miandad & Akram, all these OLDies are already Retired, but now they dont stand for the money these new generation geting thru IPL. These Poor Players from Poor Countries cant think beyond a limit. Even Gavaskar/ Shastri/ Venkat/ Wessels/ Moody/ Warne/ Lilly/ Buchnan/ Rajput are geting big bucks thru Administration work. But these Poor Felows dont have any part to play in IPL. So its bound to happen. Please IPL, get these Poor and Needy cricketers in the Charity matches fund raising list. We Indians are very Sorry for these Poor.

Mr narain u dont knw the history of wc in all the world cup india has played against pakistan azhar was the captain n india has won all 3encounters jst dont remove ur grudge on him jst bcoz he is muslin u might think or he was picked for match fixing n mind u it was not proven by ur gr8 dalmiya n in his captainy india has won many test matches which was recently broken by ganguli ur memory is very weak pls have a scan

Haan Barabar hai, Miandad is right, from his point of view. IPL is definitely hampering the Cricket Calendar of these Poor countries, and the survival of OLDies depends on the Poor Cricket played in these Poor Countries. These Poor OLDies dont have any role to play in IPL, hence not getting Money, bechare Poor.

Miandad is definitely a great cricketer in his era, but that era is already iver 15 years back, now its money that matters, and IPL is having money. This OLdie has no grounds to stand upon, bechara POOR hai, maf karo use. IPL will definitely throw a club level exhibition match for him so that this poor miandad will get some fund.
