Something Wrong
by Joseph P on Apr 14, 2008 09:23 PM

The way Pakistani batsmen chased the target is beyond my understanding, there was something fishy.
I don't know what, but anybody who watched this match will vouch for it. They never tried to chase the target. Infact the way they were playing was very surprising.

Politics Dudes ! ! !
by ash on Apr 14, 2008 01:27 PM

Can any one unaware why ICL is not covered up by media?

Why there is no great Sponsors?

Why they couldn't have great (Current)players?
Even international players?

Its just a Politics...
BCCI is the biggest revenue making firm... ICC can't omit BCCI. If it does, it means they are killing themself. Sponsors will pay more only if BCCI team plays. Media covers only if it gets heavy money.

Who dares to lose sponsors?
What if BCCI says Pepsi can't be a sponsor for BCCI if it supports ICL. Else, they have COKE!!!

Remember, there are thousands of companies willing to put Ads while "BCCI Team" plays.

Important, BCCI is not having just IPL but ODI, Tests and great ICC.
Think of
the number of matches,
number of players(Actors named as Brand Ambassadors),
number of Hrs.
Number of Ads,
Number of Coverage,
Number of people watching it...

No sponsors can step against BCCI.

Do you people have any Idea of how many sponsors were willing to promote ICL when this theme was announced? the coverage from press? BCCI's opposition...

But....
Money Rules,
Power Dominates,
Politician Ruins...

Until the man spelled PAVAR is there, ICL will have a tough chance... But I suppose, any one claims power will do the same... Killing the competitor.

Long Live India, Long live Politics, Long Runs Ruins....
MERA BHARAT MAHAN....

Probably YES...
When money plays, you must have to "PLAY"(setting, can also be said as DRAMA!!)...

And Its worrying that you are still believing that BCCI's Team plays Cricket!!

But You can expect some cricket in ICL atleast, but only a "PLAY" in BCCI..

People, I'm saying again, when money plays in a play then it is an Pre-Programed PLAY.

ICL is learning, BCCI is Experienced...

icl is poorer than bcci
by shubham gupta on Apr 14, 2008 01:08 PM  | Hide replies

icl do not organize test matches .without playing test matches a player can't become a good player .bcci organizes test cricket mostly and very less amount of one day matches.icl has organized 3 t20 tournaments in 5 months thet are just looking to earn money and destroying world cricket

ICL India's fielding standard
by mahesh k on Apr 14, 2008 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

Look at the fielding standard these ICL India guys display. They can certainly beat the current BCCI Indian 20-20 team without a fuss. There is an overall maturity in the way these chaps play.See their commitment on the field...Especially some noteable good cricketers like Vignesh, Murtaza, Binny, TP Singh, Satish etc...infact each one of them fit into this team so well that it is hard to point out one match winner in this team...ICL ROCKKKKKSSSSSS !!!

this chap Ganapati Vignesh is definitly India material...but our stupid & so-called "promoters" of the game in India are only turning a blind eye towards such talent..we need to realise that this loss is not a loss for vignesh or the other talented players, but its actually a loss for india & indians as these sportsman can go on to serve the country well....
