one thing that i like about WI is their fighting spirit.one could remember that when Steve's Australian team came to play against WI in a four test match series, the Australian team won the three test matches, they did not win the last test match even if wi had to chase 418 runs for victory.it is known fact that nobody has whitewashed wi in tests at home show that wi have great resolve and fighting spirit.WI won the last test match against Sri Lanka and leveled the series, which has increased their confidence.this result just enforces that self-belief and determination.
its very much a selfish innings by at least two of the top order batsmen. One of them is opener also. I dont think this wicket is so bad that they can not score and middle the bat. I recognise theis one day as one of the selfish innings played by top order and accidentally W.Indies won it.
I think unlike other match winners at later stages like Bevan, Klusener or Viv Richards;Chanderpaul did played a selfish innings and after the wicket of Bravo he almost lost faith of winning the match and tried to stayed till the end n led the tailenders to hit. No doubt he is a talented player and won the match still there is always a hint of selfishness in his batting which is quite similar to Indian batsman

giving strike to tail enders is never a bad idea, as there will be scoring opportunities for them. there will be different fielding set-up for a tail ender and an in-form batsman. It is only good idea to take advantage of the loopholes in the field. the tail ender is more likely to score runs than the batsman.
that is a fact and we have experienced it several times.

at the expense of giving wickets and giving them strike by running at the first ball of the over???

not all Hindus are Indians my friend. Chandrapaul's ancestors may have been Indians... but I don't see a need to support an Carribean. I respect Shivnarian as much as i respect Brian Lara.

i go to the temple built by guyanese in my city and hear gita scriptures by a pandit who is a MBBS/MD doctor. Compared to going to indian indian temples this one is very nice.
iam very very happy .he batted superb.no one player batted these innings.last 2 balls windies required 10 runs he scored 4&6 in 2 balls.once upon a time miandad scored last ball six in chetan sharma bowling.even this situation great sachin, lara not played.so please dont forget these type of players like kallis, dravid, chanderpal.these are situation players.
