And there are reasons why i say this. From the experience of him playing for India in Aus recently, i got a chance to meet him personally and his attitude is already a problem when he is nothin a t the moment. Being the youngest of cricketers you would expect some dignity and gentleman-like traits in his persona, but those things are missing. What strikes you is his stubborn arrogance and up-tight behavior. Which seems to indicate he will be in the thick of team politics when he cements a place in the country team. Such players have come and gone, and have made a name for themselves but left the nation's peroformance on the whole wanting more. I hope he learns to be a team player above all, and i'm sure many other youngsters will have some air of confidence (rather over-confidence) about themselves but eventually they need to learn form team players like Sachin, Rahul and others who are living examples of Excellent Team players. Ofcourse skill also matters but in a team game what matters MORe is Team UNITY, thats my 2 cents worth.
It seems that the Indian test batting lineup is soley reliant on the likes of Tendulkar, Dravid, Laxman and Ganguly. They have bailed India more than any occasion anyone could possibly think of. Its about time the selectors look beyond grooming good batsmen for the next generation. The current youth does not seem to have any gall to fight Morkel and Steyn.

Piyush is a good batsman as well. 20-30 runs from this guy will make big difference to the team and he himself as aplayer.
