Thanks to ICL ! BCCI has finally woke up and the players get their due worth. I'm sure, ICL league can also prove to be a big success with the big names joining the event. All we want is entertainment; no matter who gives it. The only thing I'd request ICL is, telecast the matches in one of Zee network's free to air channel so that more viewers are able to view the matches. Had it not been to ICL, BCCI would not have taken many of the recent steps in the right direction. BCCI is managed by a bunch of power mongers and jokers who have nothing to do with cricket. Whereas I'm sure, the ICL league will be maintained professionally. Carry on your good work ICL! We're behind you...
The come back of the 30 seniors will sure prove to be a pain in the neck of Dhoni, the captain. `wish, he has the courage and support to drop any of them on the basis of poor performance their stature not withstanding. `wish, he also wisely rotates the players to prevent burnout due to excess cricket and to give much needed chance to the fringe players.
I suggest all sports fans, to watch BSNL Sports Quiz (Live) shown on DD Podhigai (Tamil) at 2210 to 2300 on every Saturday, a gem of the program. Although, I dont understand Tamil, still I cherish to watch the program, as all questions are shown in english (like KBC) and to be answered by viewers only. It is a live show, where viewers can call and participate to answer the questions. Pl watch it. Usually cable operators dont show all the regional DD channels. but here, DTH is a boon to the migrants of any state who have moved outside their state to keep themselves aware of their own state in their own language. they would like to watch programmes in their own language in the remote areas. There are certain programs on DD - really fantastic. Viewers just throw their inhibitions abt DD. If anybody, who has seen the program of BSNL sports quiz, can comment ....
