It is very strange to see the batting of Tendulkar on Kochi ODI. The way of defensive play performed at the ground is totally embrassing. Being a great batsman of the world and facing ball in critical way. This type of batting asumed to depressed the other junior batsman. My request for Tendulkar play always like a former Tendulkar. Runs will be not a issue for him. Best wishes for team India.
Its very true, as said in Gandhi's comments: "The more he is playing in ODI's more he is spoiling his own records and his own image". He is becoming selfish now, unnecessarily spoiling his name, he waiting to reach 25,000 runs and he is very eager to play 500 matches or more than that, so that no one can beat his records in the future. His age is now 34, and he never quit till 40. Lara is quite younger than him, he decently quits, but Lara went with good name. But this guy spoiling.. spoiling..

It's people like you who are watching is records and not Sachin. You people seem to have short term memory and forget what he has done to the national cricket team and which he is still continuing to do. He helped India win it's first away one day series against south africa, he kept the hopes alive in both one day as well as test series against England. I don't think Lara is Younger to Sachin and it doesnt make any sense to ask Sachin to retire just because Lara retired.

i agree with bhim raj. tendulkar is history. it is being proved again and again. he should retire now when people will ask "WHY?" and not after a few more seasons when people will ask "WHY NOT?" past records and contribution cannot be over looked, but that is the past. Gavaskar Kapildev also had great records and contributions but did they not retire? come on don't harp on the past and give excuses for his slow down.

I agree, he is a great batsman, etc.. etc.. but see for the past 2 years, what he did, but Lara is same Lara, same method and style he will follow all the time and retired with good name. But this guy is not playing anymore, he is aged, and not capable of doing anything now at this point of time, only name sake he is little master, but he is old now, better he can give chance to dinesh kartik, suresh raina or rohit sharma kind of people, they will play good and get some runs.

Guys with Short memory, kindly shut up. He played well in England and he is playing well in the current series. Still bowlers fear when he is in the middle, while running between he is quick, bowl effectively when given chance and takes surprise wickets. He still fields in the deep and batsman never take chance for a second run - his throw from deep is very strong - right on top of the wickets. Can you remember when sachin fumbled catches. How many times he has taken a substitute runner while batting. What more do you want from him. He has severd well for Indian Cricket and still serving great. He has played non-stop cricket for 18 yrs and still playing fit. Great player through out the world thinks he is GREAT. What a reputation he has in World Cricket. Can any one challenge his commitment towards Indian Cricket. Do you think you are so knowledgable in cricket to suggest Tendulkar to quit. What a ridicule. Hey "Prey Pr" Lara was nearly 38 when he announced his retirement and Tendulkar is 34 now. Your Cricketing knowledge is very poor. Next time you comment atleast get their age right.

Oh Godwin, yes Lara is 38, but he played aggressively till he quits, he never changed his style, from the start of his career till end, if Lara enters, will see the aggressive cricket, we love his strokes. Similarly Jayasurya also aggressive till now. But our Little sorry, our old master is slow now, if he enters the ground, no body gets enthu now, everybody knows that he will go off with in 1 or 2 runs and it becomes default nowadays..
He is becoming worst nowadays., any bowler can easily take off sachin within 1 or 2 runs. Better he can quit now itself. So that he can keep his good name otherwise day by day he will go worse.

Sach yaar Kabhi wo gendbazon ke liye khauf huaa karta tha, aaj ye halat hai ki shayad sare bowler use sabse saral aahar mante honge. Sachmuch ye dekhkar ab ham logon ko sharmindagi hoti hai ki apana Sachin kya tha kya ho ke rah gaya hai. Pta nahi Sachin ko sharmindagi mahsoos hoti hai ki nahi.
Sachin is selfish fellow, he will play surely for another 10 years, he is not consisitent like Dravid. These dravid, ganguly are quite good when compare to sachin.
Ya, surely he will play for more than 10 years. Lara, McGrath are decently quit from the cricket. But this Sachin is still sitting and not doing anything., He will definitely sit for 10 years and score only 1 run for each match or slowly he will put 50 or 100 for 200 balls and make history... bloody old master

Some years ago, world cricket has 3 aggressive icons, LARA, SACHIN & JAYASURYA.. now SACHIN is out from this list.
Guys just think about the pressure he is having always when is going to bat...becasue of our expectation. We need always century from him. Noe other than will make us happy. then also he is performing world class level for a long years... He is the best always..

Expect usi se kiya jata hai jo uske kabil ho. Aur yadi wah kabil nahi to hai kyun? Jaye na? 1,00,00,00,000 logo ka wo pratinidhitwa karne utarata hai. To dabaw to jhelna hi padega, wo bhi is karan kyunki atit me usne achchha pradarshan kiya hai, yadi nahi kiya hota to wo bhi itne din team me nahi raha hota. So yadi ab kuchh visheshh karne ki sthiti me nahi to behtar hoga uska chala jana, aur bhi log uske pichhe hai unhe bhi dekha jay. Rahi bat century ki to sab usase yahi asha nahi karte hai, kuchh-log aise bhi hai jo usase keval us pradarshan ki asha karte hai jo Desh ko jitane me madadgar siddh ho sake chahe wo century ho , half century ho ya phir JAROORAT ke MAHTWAPURNA 20 ya 10 run.

So what you want us to understand the game or understand his problems. The more he is playing in ODI's more he is spoiling his own records and his own image. If the pressure on him is so unbearable he can sit out on bench, why create a crater for even others team mates to fall into. The more he playing more chances of Team to loose matches. Cant say anything more harsh as he was a good player once upon a time and he is good guy as well.

he was the most successful indian batsmen during the recent tour to england, just think before u speak man.he was a great player and still has the ability to continue for some years. veteran players help a lot to the juniors and jayasuriya, steve waugh , inzamam, lara etc. are examples.

Despite playing for 20 years people have questions on sachin? Its not about his records as they stand tallest amongst all the champion players. But the question is how much of it he has contributed to India's winning. When he plays 250 balls to score a 100 now a days against Bangladesh and Zimbawe, and also opens much slowly in ODI's he is not motivating his Team mates. He should be leading from the forefront but he looks to be playing for himself. Except for his die hard fans, people just dont want a 50 or hundread from Sachin, but want him to thrash the oppositions. This would make him sparkle in the middle and put a fear in oppositions mind. He is much capable to do this but he is taking it slow. Hence now Forign players seems to dearly wishing that he is in Indian team when they play us as Sachin is relativelu naive to his own standards.

Gandhi, Everyone in this country knows what mistakes the cricketers are making and can point out that easily but I just want to know how many of them understand the game and what it takes to play at international level for 18 years and still going strong. Everyone wants him to play aggreseviley and once Sachin gets out playing some aggresive shot same set of people come out and start shouting that after playing for 18 years he gets out for silly shots. You people have to understand his contribution to the team before you make some comments on him.

Some fans like Biju seems to know cricket more. What more they know better. Evry one knows that Sachin is just passing time and running his shop. Not much concerned about country. Beacuse of these drawbacks India will struggle in the ODI & Test series against Aussies.
