Shastri: "The match was thrilling encounter and was concluded by a single mistake of Misbah.. Isn't it? "
Dhoni: "Yes you are right, after lofting the ball Misbah told me that he has send the ball to where there was no one. But he didn't know that there is a malayali in every corner of the world. This single mistake cost them the game" Shastri faints and Dhoni receives the CUP and thats the end of the great Twenty20 world cup

This is a simple joke started way back in 1969. The joke started as " when Amstrong stepped in the moon via Appollo 11 a Nair was ready with a cup of tea and big banana (kerala spl) to receive him in the moon, simply prooving that the malayalis' presence are all over the world. So don't take it as serious.

Guys,
Why all this hoo-hallah about winning the T20 ?I mean yes, this is great for Indian cricket and great job by Dhoni and Team, but remember there is a long way to go.
And time will tell how consistent the team is and they gotta prove that they are consistent like Australia.
BCCI has given them blady crores of money. This might have satisfied them for years to come...lets see if they still play cricket the same way..

Chup be India Cricket

Mr Sreesanth, dude you have been selected to play for represent india in W-20 series. So basically playing cricket is your profession. Being a professional and taking a simple catch is not a big of a deal. If not you there are so many players in indian team who would have taken that simplae catch. Shame to say that " I had gone blank". You have lost the main world cup let's all remember that. That was a big deal.

ame ame ??? what a sick name in itself,,

try to appreciate Sreesant's fantastic attitude man ,,,I haven't seen a man who could match the agression ( and arrogance) of Anderew Nel and giving him a fitting reply with a powerful performance,, or for that matter the die hard winning attitude of the Australian team.
This Time India has shown the attitude,,the positive and winning ,,,
Dont try to come out with some shit explanation as if you have played a hundred world cup matches and conclude that its a simple catch,,,coz no one knows how it feels taking a world cup winning catch and the tremendous pressure they are in...
Shame on you ame ame ,,,you dont have guts to reveal your real name ,,,forget about catch

KUDOS Indian Team....KEEP IT UP,,,
Nothing matches the feeling of seeing Indian flag fluttering on high skies .

Bast*rds like ame ame will applaud when ravi shastri hits 5 runs in 50 balls and agarkar bowls 5 overs for 60 runs, but will ridicule Sreesanth for being aggressive and bowling stinging bowncers and yorkers! what was his mistake?......oh yeah, he is not from Bombay!

He caught it and won us the game right? The important thing here is that he was there at that time and he is the one who took the catch not anyone else.

I disagree with Ame Ame. It was a high pressure game and Sreesanth could have easily dropped the catch. Of course he is a professional cricketer. More powerful men like Alan Donald and Herschelle Gibbs gave away the cup to Australia.

I appreciate Sreesanth taking rhe catch
