while everybody is looking at Dhoni, Yuvraj, Irfan performances, why the leading run getter and wicket taker are not being noticed. 12 wickets is as good as 240 runs. Yuvraj after hitting 6 sixes gets 1 crore ruppees, why not RP sing too? Shyam/Nepal

Though the bowlers did definitely well, it was Gambhir who contributed 50% of India's total score...but as they, cricket is a funny game...and so are BCCI officials

Gambhir has contributed tremendously. But no body from the team or media has publicized Gambhir%u2019s name in the final. He had a very good contribution to the final verdict. He scored around 50% of the score, where the big stalwarts like Dhoni and Yuvi failed to capitalize the big occasion. Gambhir the unsung hero went un-noticed from the media glare. I have seen that some one has written about Ganguly he shouldnot write like this,however perhaps he is fool,our team is good and hope for the best in future.20:20 game is not at all interestig and you cannot judge propperly.However future will speak.

Santosh, you are the right . There are many fools who comment on Ganguly unfairly. What they forget is that Ganguly had a contribution even in the recent success of Team India. He was instrumental in discovering some of the top performers in the current 20/20 team - including Dhoni, Yuvraj, Sehwag, Harbhajan - inspite of opposition from BCCI selectors headed by More.
Also I am from Jharkand and not bengali so guys dont call me as biased.

Afterall pakistani players are semi literate uncivilised youngsters who donot have any brain of their own.Malik might have been afraid the mad pakistani muslims may target him for loosing to India and thatswhy he took the name of religion : so just neglect it!what can we expect from a pakistani!
With all the celebrations going in India, we didnt got any messages/wishes from Raghul Dravid, (Ex India Captain). Where is he? Why not even a single word from him. Media try to get him. I think he is not enjoying the Indian Win.

Can't you spell Rahul properly, how did the 'g' appear in the middle. I am sure the media didn't bother to contact him, they have always underplayed his stats as a captain. Sachin , Ganguly were hogging the limelight, it was as if they too had participated in the win, media sucks big time !!

Dear Ganeshan, Please do not ever think like that about Rahul Dravid. He is a perfect team man. If he did not congradulated in media does it mean that he didnt congratulated the team? he might have talked to them directly over phone.

I do agree with that point.
20-20 team is much better than the selfish 50-50 team. OD team cant able to reach the unity which has shown by this new young team...the seniors will play a part and even dhoni wont be able to guide the team as he did in T20 cup.
Its the time for seniors to concentrate more on test cricket.
