Sreesanth is eccentric. thats right. But its not right if u say tht he is cheap. He never appeals for uncinvincing LBWs or catches. Never had a bad word out of the cricket field. He has to improve his concentration more on his line and length. Thats what I feel
India has been docked for slow over rate and sreesanth for excessive appealing fine, Guity should be punished. But dont teams like SAF, AUS, ENG,NZL always bowl their overs in time and be angels on the cricket field??? Flintoff did not get fined nor have the Aussies. I am not just talking about this tournament but in general.Steve Waugh,McGrath, warne and co always gave colorful accolades to opponents on the field but they always were scot free or left with a stern warning (i donno what that is)whereas others always get fined straight away! I have started believing that color still rules!!!
A discordant voice amidst the euphoria of a win.. let us dig deeper and one can't miss the apparent factors:
1. Australia misses atleast 5 run out chances 2. Australia misses atleast 2 catches and many near misses - contrary to their record 3. Indian batsmen did not play one improvised stroke in the match against Australia - even against weaker teams they were struggling for runs and batsmen had to improvise with paddle shots, etc...not against Australia... were the Indian batsmen fed with balls in the 'right' places? 4. The exit of India/Pak in the world cup meant loss of revenue. Was this to be recouped with an India/Pak final? 5. Australia were in total command while chasing.. but for some inexplicable reason - gave it up? Was a losing India not in their overall commercial interests? 6. It is said that better had huge stakes and India/Pak has to enter the finals - news channels were mentioning this... is there some truth 7. Diplomatic relations between Australia and India were affected after the Haneef case... Were they being repaired.
Many more reasons if one digs deeper.. this lone voice may appear as an conspiracy obsessed one.. but there are no many things amiss. Would like to have your feedback...

nice compilation...u shud b a journalist. Australia lost to zimbabwe, wot was the reason for that?? australia lost to pak, why?? was that all pre-planned so that aussies could play with India in semis and lose??/
and indians didn't have to take chances coz this was the easiest pitch of all that Indians played on.
still figure out more reasons and plz publish it here.

People like you are just leeches. No national pride, no patriotism, only a stupid suspicious mind. People like you can never enjoy any sport nor can they allow anyone to enjoy it. You may say in the same vein that in order to win this semi-final, India lost to Australia in the World Cup of 2003. And what about diplomatic relations? Going by this rule, Pakistan lost their match against India in 1999 World Cup and therefore Nawaz Sharif launched Kargil War. I think India outplayed Australia which is rare but it's still true. It just shows that no one is invincible. Even India can loose to a minnow team and why not? Such upsets make the sport exciting but people like you ruin the fun.
