I think that this is another blunder committed by the BCCI because on one hand they say that the captain is for future but on other hand they still have team members who are 34 years & above. Why dont BCCI select a team for future too.
Secondly, Iam not quite sure of whether Dhoni will be able to lead the side. I feel he is little too young in experience & some one like Yuvaraj should have been given a chance.
Few years back we all discussed that future captain would be Mohd Kaif but now he is struggling to come back & Sehwag who has been axed again.
I feel that India has a very good players but unable to find the right mix.
My 15 member team for ODI will be - Openers - Gautham Gambhir, Robin Utappa and Virender Sehwag
Middle Order - Yuvaraj Singh, Mohd Kaif, Suresh Raina, Badrinath (Tamil Nadu)
Wicket Keepers - M S Dhoni and Dinesh Karthick
All Rounder - Irfan Pathan
Seam Bowlers - Zaheer Khan, R P Singh, Sreesanth
Spinners - Harbhajan Singh and Piyush Chawla
Coach / Manager - Roger Binny (Sack all bowling & feilding coaches)

bcci not even considered the performances of ind-A players. atleast have a look at them then those complacent players of senior team. Gr8 performance by ind-A players against good opposition to name a few. Badrinath the batsman - raising question once again y his name is not considered for selection to higher level. Praveen Kumar a good all rounder for odi. Pragyan Oza perfect reply to those who say there is no young talent esp. left arm spinners, in India. Performing consistently. Parthiv Patel- outstanding performance not only behind the wkts but also performing with bat superbly so much that even a regular batsman may be dreaming of scoring, on all kinds of pitches in various countries. Even proved his mettle as an opener. Akash Chopra - good opener - back in the reckoning AT LEAST for tests. Earlier he was considered as slow even for the tests n for his lack of converting 30s into hundreds. the above players%u2019 performances shud atleast make selectors 2 consider their name during the meeting so that others in senior team will be on their toes.
i guess sehwag should be recalled he is a assest to any team if team can have romesh powar it must have sehwag. he is a equally good bowler and a much much better batsman than him and many more.
and with teams like australia ...his experience will come into factor.
