Sachin Would be the Best New Captain
by mahendra sharma on Sep 16, 2007 01:05 PM

BCCI should use sachin as Captain .
B'cos we want india to win . & Sachin is top scorer in last 3 series.he is the only inform & consistant batsman these days. Do doubt that Sachin is still The Best. that he already prooved in last series.no one in indian team near by sachin in last three series.so he shuold be make the captain ofIndian Team. if we want india to win, we need to have sachin as Captain in the team.he is the only who can give us victory.Sachin will be the best captain. because he has max. exeperience, & an all rounder ability

Yesterday was the toughest hurdle.

We have to just watch progressive opening up of batting strength. Nothing stops India from final four.

Hey Bon Jovi,

When I will be old, I will tell my grand children than in first Twnety20 World Cup we defeated Pakistan 3-0. LOL... How about that.

It will be recorded as a win in India's favor and not as a tie. If you have any doubts then watch the faces of the Pakistani players after the match. Now you can take your stupid Pakistani trumpet wherever you want. LOL.

stop living with a myth... Pakistan was never a strong side...i dont know how you can give just a ego boost to self pride for win against pakistan. understand that its always an amazing encounter between two countries. but real battle lies ahead where Aus / SL / SA have displayed amazing fireworks and professional display in this championship. so for those, who think beating pakistan is same as winning to cup... i would only say...real battle is yet to be faced. so be practical.

Indian fielding
by TandooriRasamKadhi rosgula on Sep 15, 2007 10:27 PM  | Hide replies

What an awsome sight to see an outstanding Indian Fielding in first game. Especially when compared with the team played in England.

Lets see who played in England and not in this team.

Ganguly
Munaf
Powar
Khan
Sachin
Dravid
the worst fielder listed first in this list..

The ODI and 20-20 is for the athletic, energetic players. And in our case, the youngsters as our Seniors are too rich, too royal, too famous now to work on their fielding..

Dhoni's comments about bowling-out are purely personal and and it doens't convey any hidden meaning as and when you read-out the details. It is not fair that some people favouring their players representing their geographical area always try make others go down... As a positive spectator and being a fan of the Indian team, we should be able to appreciate good cricket in the true spirits of the game. Good luck to Dhoni and OUR team for a spectacular display of great game of cricket in the coming days...Jai Hind.

I agree, it shopuld be treated as mere personal opinion of Dhoni.

Shoab Malik admitted his team was not aware about bowl-out rule, until they faced it. It is matter of awareness or unawareness that draws line between winner and looser. India invested resources in preparing for this rare possibility, so they deserve this win.

It is indeed shocking to see a ridiculous comment made by dhoni that 20/20 cant be decided thru bowl outs.
Was he not aware of this rule prior to yesterday's game or when the 20/20 rules were accepted by all Boards.
Is he then a dummy captain who doesnt understand the rules of a tournament.
He has made a mockery of all Indians by making such a statement

I cant understand...when did Dhoni say 20/20 cany be decided by bowl out. He only said it shouldnt be,because he feels its an unfair way to determine the winner.
And if he didnt know the rules about bowl-out, he wouldnt have prepared the slow bowlers for it.He even went to mention that Rohit Sharma was the best of the lot.
No offence, but I think you jump to conclusion too soon.

Hello Hello Morrthy,

what're you talking about? I guess I am not smart enough to understand your point atall. Dhoni just expressed his point of view on this particular rule. That doesn't makes him dummy atall. Actually the person who makes big deal out of this little thing is the dummy one.

He has made mockery of nobody and not even himself. This is a new brave India an not that depressed one ruled by Phirangs.

He is brave enough to express his view in most sober fashion. You keep criticizing all you want, but most people agree here there is nothing wrong with what he said. Way to go Dhoni!!!

Even many footballers openly say that penalties are a bad way of deciding the outcome of matches. Its just an opinion and doesn't reflect lack of awareness about rules and certainly doesn't make a mockery of the individual or even less to his country.

Every individual has the right to voice his opinion. Honesty is not foolishness !! In an interview one is supposed to give his viewpoints, if everyone answers the same dummy answer then there is no meaning in the the purpose of an interview. Infact with this interview he proved that he is not a dummy. He didnt make a mockery of the Indians or anyone ,it was just his opinion. by the by I dont think the captain is part of the commitee that decides the rules, is he ? if otherwise please reply.

Dear blogger
There is no point in harping around the rules of a tournament, specifically when u r into it.
It either shows that u r unaware about the rules or a novice.
U decide.
If he is a novice, as he has proven to be, then it is a wrong selection of captain.
Y did he accept the captaincy if he was against this rule. Answer. Answer my question.

As I see it, nobody was harping anything around here. Dhoni just expressed his personal view and why not? Bunch of Australian openly expressed their unhappyness with the 20-20 in general. Their captain admitted after a loss to Zimbawe, they don't have respect for this kind of cricket.

The point is Dhoni can expressed his view and nothing wrong with that

by Ajay Kol on Sep 15, 2007 05:57 PM  | Hide replies

once the match has tied..looks like paki players were approached by bookies abd they threw the match. You can tell this by the way they bowled those 3 deliveries in bowl-out. They didnt even aim at the wickets and after they bowled their body language their expressions on face tells that all. Pls everyone watch once again on youtube.
Whether the match has been thrown up by paki's or not but Indians under Dhonis leadership kept their nerves cool and played well.Kudos to Dhoni!!

Think something useful and beneficial. for sadists like you whenever india looses , it is because of weak indian team and when india wins it is because the opposition fixed the match.

Why r u all like this ? Believe in urself and in your country men, then both the country and u will prosper.
