Dravids two 'OVERSEAS' Joke victories.........
by sudhir dhar on Sep 15, 2007 11:27 AM  | Hide replies

A 3rd ranked India against a 8th ranked Windies-Incidently,Bangladesh were the 9th ranked team.India wins against the 8th ranked team,1-0, and manages to lose by a HUGE margin the the ODIs against the same 8th ranked Windies.

The 'OTHER' great victory Dravid bhai keeps claiming is the one against England this summer.
At Lords, Simon Taufel the Umpire, fails to see a clesr edge off Sree Santh, and later misses a plumb lbw, at Lords. Then the final session rains off, robbing England of a clear victory.
Flintoff injury, keeps India safe.Harmison is away too, so is Hoggard.Great victory follows a 3-4 capitulation in the ODIs,particularly when Flintoff plays.

The truth is Windies were ranked 8th, just above Bangladesh.
The win against England was actually a draw, but I know Dravid wanted to RESIGN on a HIGH, after losing in the FIRST ROUND of the WC2007 and the Honda cup at home.

Dravid as a Captain
by Uttamkumar Samanta on Sep 15, 2007 05:44 AM

If Dravid's leadership and wining record is so greater than other captains of India, tell me one thing why such a team under such a great leader exited from WC 07 in the first round very pathetically ?
This was never happened in India's history under comparatively low rated previous captains as defined by
followers and lovers of Dravid.
If you give wining record as his record, loosing record is also his own.
So, was the exit of WC 07 in the first round is a true "flame test" of the inability and lack of
leadership quality Dravid ?

Well done, Tendulkar - back from the back-room. Saala!

Some dirty BCCI chor deal was struck between BCCI cronies of Tendlya, and Dravid was elbowed aside. You watch - SRT will be captain!

The great overrated SRT wants to be captain again. He just can't accept he had such short terms as captain, and he very feared he'd never get it again. So BCCI and he did some elbowing, and suggested to Dravid that he step down.

So that this selfish play for self and records Tendulkar can be captain again. Ego.

See it what it is. See through this nonsense. It may sound like a rant, but guaranteed - this is the true story. SRT wants to end as Captain.

Absolutely!!! Its really depressing to learn that such a true gentleman of the game is treated like this by the idiots in the background. The Indian cricket team has lost a true servant of the game who never played the game for the money. Such a low profile cricketer. I know because I was in Bangalore when he was at his prime. No headlines and nonsense about him signing up with a lucrative sponsor or buying a ferari. He lived cricket. If anyone could take Indian cricket to great heights with his modern thinking it would have been Rahul. I wanted to play for India too when I was young. But seeing all this, I am glad I trashed the idea. Good luck Rahul. You are a true professional.

SRT are Dravid are not different when it comes to personality. Besides SRT did not buy a Ferrari, it was gifted to him. SRT also has never sought media attention but fortunately or unfortunately media follows him everywhere and has him on the headlines. SRT and Dravid both very unassuming, hardworking cricketers and are very good friends and have great camaraderie between them.

If there is a culprit (which I doubt) it is BCCI and all the politicians (and criminals/gangsters such as Lalit Modi) in BCCI.
