We Indians are more knowledgeble in cricket than any other country men. We are great in analysing any kind of match situation and best captains off the field. In critically analysing the game and giving comments and critisizing we are better than most of the commentators in the world.
But its quite surprsing that no one in this country never vehimently critisized Ajith Agarkar inclusion in the team -the all rounder supposed to be. His performance series to series if you analyse it is quite surprising that he is always picked in the side - I dont know how? We were so much merciless when it came to Irfan Pathan and Zaheer Khan and very importanly Saurav Ganguly. Even when worst of form Pathan was always better in terms of performance in comparison with Ajith Agarkar. Ajith Agarkar never came to a point of discussion and he still survives in team India. Either he is unnoticed for his bad performance, out of luck or out of design by the selectors and pundits. The job of journalism is to start a creative positive debate for the improvement of system of their respective fields and ensure that it is corrected for better. Our criket journalsts just reproduces the event which is quite visible to all who is watching the game and often fail to give any value addition for the cricket. And people who are part of the cricket system in one way or the other will never dare to critisize the system as they are part of the system. When cricket administrators are becoming cricket journalist
