When whole of india is celebrating the T-20 triumph of india... the 50 unfortunate sons of indian cricket must be feeling isolated... i think they can't even enjoy... because they are not and cannot be part of this. They must rueing their luck to join ICL , specially after BCCI declaring there own brand of 20-20 format.

Senior Gavasker gave the right guidance to his son.He knows inside story of BCCI that BCCI is defunct and will ultimately disappear in a couple of years as Bindras pawars will make their buck and close the shop.
ICL is the future of India.

Jr. Gavaskar is a liar while lucky at the same time
by Prasad on Sep 13, 2007 02:10 PM

He was a hopeless cricketer when he played for India. He knows he dont hv any chance of getting into the team again inspite of being Sunny's son. What better than earning some extra cash by joining ICL. Opportunity to play with old/retired/other hopeless avg players is plain lie.

ICL and BCCI
by amarjeet dogra on Sep 13, 2007 02:05 PM

BCCI should approve ICL as this will raise overall level of cricket in India. Also, as righly reasoned by many, young Indain cricketers will also get opportunity to play good cricket along with many greater cricketers like Lara, Yousuf and many other.
Now, if ICL could give such a good exposure to young cricketers, why BCCI is againt them. Do BCCI ban playres who play in English County league? IF not, why so much hue and cry over ICL.
If approved, not only our young players but we would also get the opportunity to both our national cricketing heroes along with overseas greats.
Hope some better sense prevails in BCCI team.
