You are spot on Prem these reporters keep on barking like anything and it is becoming ritual to make mistakes in their articles regularly. I was reading one similar column on sify yesterday mentioning 20-20 Cup being hosted at NZ.

He plays for England but was born in Pakistan ... so i guess thats rediff's justification... but you are right he plays for England... this needs to be changed.
