I think Ponting deserved these honors being bestowed upon him. Despite having the best team and best coach, one needs flair to utilize them to their optimum best. Ponting had and still has just that. That's why the he desrved the honour.
Md Yousuf deserved that. He had an outstanding year with the bat scoring at an average of almost 100 with 9 record breaking centuries in a single year.....Congrats to him
I really think that its high time to promote women's cricket & other games in India... Why is it so that that the men's cricket is glorified so much while other sports suffer... The cricketers in men's team get paid a bomb & other sports person quit sports as it is not bringing bread & butter for the family... I really hope the success of the Hockey Team & Jhulan brings a change in the scenerio.
