Hello, This time we don't have bangladesh in group D. the teams are india, pak & scotland. Cheers..... we are sure to progress to super eights. had it been bangla, then the world cup debacle would continue,then bcci will come up with lame & funny excuses. (anyway the chance to progress from super8 looks very difficult)
Wish we (india) had a seperate 20-20 cup with teams including scotland,zimbabwe,ireland,kenya, and we're the champs.
These are my personal opinions!! But i don't think i'am going over the moon in imagining conspiracy theories!! Sachin, Ganguly and Rahul have all OPTED out of the 20-20 WC!! If they had not opted out, the BCCI was all set to drop them; ostensibly for the fact that 20-20 is a young man's game and requires fleet footed agile people!! Oh yah????? Since when has BCCI become so sensitive to the needs of modern cricket?? Or they have showed so much imagination and foresight so as to preempt any injuries to their top players who are slightly over the hill as far as agility and speed are concerned??
The same logic also works for 50 over matches; Ganguly is a liability in the 50 over game, Rahul has become an average fielder and Sachin does not have the legs of old!! Yet BCCI wanst them to play all 50 over cricket!! The BCCI wants India to do badly in the 20-20 WC!! Hence they did not want Sachin, Dravid and Ganguly!! With the absence of these stalwarts, India would do badly in 20-20!! On the other hand, If India really did well in 20-20, that format might get popularized and the ICL might take the initiative in 20-20!! The BCCI wants to short circuit any ambitions of the ICL and does not want 20-20 to become popular!! Hence, the deliberate sending of a weak team!! With India's disastrous performance in the 20-20 WC imminent, due to the absence of 3 big stars, the format would die even before it takes off in India!! And with it might die the ambitions of the ICL who hope to

I don't think the present 20-20 team is weak. BTW, are you the protagonist of "Iqbal" movie? If so, I liked you acting in both Iqbal and Dor. Keep it up & waiting for some meaningful & inspirational films from you.
