I like Bengalis for their talent and determination. I have a respect for Bengal culture. It is good to see so many Bengali singers rocking all the musical programmes like Saregamapa and Inidan Idol. Jhulan Goswami another Bengali girl has become best cricketer judged by the ICC. It is a pity that the only captain material Saurav is kept out of captaincy. There is no harm in giving responsibilities to people who deserve it , irrespective of his region, religion or language. Ranadev Basu should also be given chance while so many non performers are carried along by the present Captain Dravid.

Yeh Right and my grandfather just turned 13 and became a teenager. May be be was born on Feb 29th and so people only count the number of actual birthdays that he would have seen.
For your information he was born on March 1, 1980 and so he would be like 27 years now. But that aside what face does Shoaib talk about culture and maturity. We all know how cultured he is and mature he is.
Cant boln without throwing. Just a hype and no substance. He is done once for all. The pakistan board will make sure that before the start of every tour there is an incident involving him and since he cannot keep quite he will fall for the prey and will be sent back.
All he can do till his retirement is join the team on the flight to the tour and then before the tour begins be back to his home and start practicing for the next tour.

In sharjah 1994 tourney, Aamir Sohail and Inzamam had an ugly spat where Inzamam and Sohail threatened each other with bats!! This after Sohail ran out Inzamam for zero in a match against India!! These things are not new in Pak cricket, it is just that the media is getting too obtrusive and has no respect for the privacy of players!!
In the 1975 WC, Abid Ali and Farokh Engineer of India almost came to blows!!
In 1987, Javed Miandad and Abdul Qadir had threatened each other with knives!!
So, these things happen all the time!! We should lern to take it easy!!

I agree with Iqbal, but that would not mean we should let things go. Gavaskar famously almost walked out of a Melbourne test on being given out wrongly. If the same thing happens now, can we cite precedence and let things go?
