I S Bindra was worst than a peon about 5 years back and he has the adosity to comment about Kapil Dev.This can happen only in India where the slight change in set up can make a peon a selector and an established cricketer with proven record becomes an accused just because that peon never got a chance to enter ICL as his loyality of licking backside kept him in BCCI. This is what we think of Bindra the looser. Kapil will never loose his good night sleep over such irrelevant comments coming from a peon.So Bindra stay put!
they have questioned monopoly, created more openings (in a sport that actually fed very few though it cooked up a lot, and has a huge following), and opened up positions for veterans. Tell me, we have fergusson, arsen wenger, jose murinho in premier league, why cant we have things like that here. Is going after money really bad? Is tata relaince birla bad? So let some people venture for the money so that some poor people get some jobs. bcci will never do that. Support enterprise. and why you doubt your intillegence. We will kick out every thing that is bad. About Kapil's mouth - it is also loud. He should remember what Azhar said, My bat will do the talking. What Sachin said, My job is more difficult than th critics. He should learn to slap his critics face by his performance and the success of his ventures. A true warrior, will have things more worthy to do than reacting to barking dogs.

bcci is the one of the worst monopolies. they should disclose thier balance sheet, the income, they shouldnt get any priviliges as a board, as they claim they dont represent india, but when it coems to a competitor, they say they are the chosen one. says who ?
its good that they are subjected to monopolies rules. icl is a boon to the cricket scene at least in india. they have already done a world of good to the cricketers. kapil recently on a tv channel even mentioned the plight of cricketers, and in the olden times had to wait for the officials to get thier dues, and many such situations.
cricket > crickters > administration. that should be the order of importance, unfortnately, in india the reverse is true!
kapil paaji!!!!!!!!!!! what has happened to you. It seems you are lost in fool's paradise and foundering around Mr. Subhash who is taking out his grunt for not getting the telecast rights.
You have said that ICL is more than money making by nurturing young talent. Can you explain how?????????????
All the cricketers roped in by ICL have either passed their prime or so unmatured that they have been overlooked by the respective Ranji teams.
In future if the ICC gives a ruling that ICL is a private body and all players roped in by ICL shall face srtingent actions what will you do or what Mr. Chandra will do. Will he give jobs to all the players in his Zee group.

icl will prosper even if its an outcast. whats the big ruckus, anyone can start a club and start playing. why should the icc be afraid of sharing thier revenues, which is at the heart of the matter - but one which no one will agree to. in the end, crickters and people like us will benefit from variety. also, look at how scared bcci is of icl, theyve done so much in 2 months, which they havent done in a lifetime!
Kapil is very rightly pointing out that BCCI is dominated by the politically powerful (niranjan shah, jagmohan dal sharamnak pawar & Bindraas etc)and doesnt have cricketers who have played for years and know the game better. Definitely the Gavaskars, Shastris, Amarnaths & Pataudis can be fitting leaders .
I am not sure how many of you may remember the comments made by Niranjan Shah( I think he's vice president - whatever ), After world cup debacle he cooly commented to the Meida - "so what" A....hhhhh....he was completely exposed the way he takes cricket in India....then what do you guys expect from BCCI...
We people love cricket and wait for 4 years for the world cup, but these BCCI people have ruined cricket in India in the last 2 years...specially after New President was elected.

becoz he doesnt bother abt the game, whether team lost or win. he is not concern abt it. his main concern is monent which is making out of this game
Whatever it may be, may ICL make money.. but Kapil is apsolutely right here.. Who doesnt.. and what a crap board member this is.. Fairly it should be an open forum for all. Let BCCI represent the country.. until it has fair capability the day its not fair and there is some thing else bigger and more transperent .. then better rules need to be made... All Money going out to SH*T politician.. ICL approval brings down value for BCCI which is sort of tyranny and shoots up value to sheer talent.. It would be like IT Market, where more talent, better skill gets better money .. SAME WILL APPLY HERE..
MAMU.. then the time will come where cricketers start hopping boards and leagues for better wages...
This is not surprise at all.. As this is already in practise by the world's most popular sport.. FOOTBALL..
This is atleast an attempt to make a better board..
ICL is Chandra's baby. How do star espn buy rights from chandra to telecast ICL matches? If ICL turns out to be more popular than BCCI, would other channels also float their own league? If ICL is just a money spinning trick, why there wasnt a reliance cricket league or a tata cricket league?
RE:what about chandra?

so u mean to say that DORDARSHAN should only be the channal to watch and mtnl and bsnl should only be the telecom companies on india. VERY FUNNY APPORCH DUDE

What do u want then..in normal circumstances u will curse BCCI, now that someone has come up with a conmpetition, you are still not happy..
Don't you know that competition and threat of being overshadowed is good for any business.....and of course Cricket for BCCI and ICL is also business, lets accept that. Nothing is for charity anyway...
Bindra attacking Kapil for being after money is like the pot calling the kettle black.Kapil at least is honest that ICL will give him money. Are we to assume that Bindra's heart bleeds for cricket and his honorary services to the PCA and the BCCI have not been lucrative to him?Noone will believe this .He has been clinging on to his preseve because it gives him power, prestige and without doubt money in various ways.Yet we have him trying to tell us that Kapil is getting paid for organising the ICL.I think this honorary business is the root cause for all these activities.Better to have a paid professional structure and get rid of the hypocrisy.
