Bring Sachin as a Captain and Dhoni/Yujraj as his vic
by us on Sep 09, 2007 09:28 AM

It may be difficult to give Ganguly back to the post.
It's better if Sachin agrees to take the post again and make Dhoni/Yubraj his vice.

In order to proceed to 2011 WC, Indian
selectors should remove Dravid without delaying a second. Particularly looking to him and in the WC 07 (India's worst history).

It has been proven several times Dravid is totally failed as Captain inside the field and
outside too.

Sachin fails in important matches.....
by Chandra Paul on Sep 08, 2007 11:31 AM

I am a great fan of Tendulkar and I totally agree that he contributed a lot to Indian cricket. But we have to agree this too that he fails brutally when his services are really required. I am sure he will definetily fail in the final 7th ODI against England.

Sachin plays for Money?????????
by Nandu R on Sep 06, 2007 08:44 PM  | Hide replies

People who think sachin plays for money are plain stupids. Who either have no brain or dont know to use it.

Sachin did not start playing cricket because he cant study or he can earn money. Sachin started playing cricket coz of the love for the game. When he was successful in his game, He was selected to represent India.Yes its India not just BCCI. Even though you can call it as team BCCI. Its still team India thats why President of India recogonize this cricket and gave awards to Sachin. Thats why Sachin was awarded Padma Sree(Third highest civilian award) by GOVERNMENT OF INDIA(not BCCI).

Love for the game and country made him play the match against Kenya in 1999 world cup just days after his father passed away.

If you still think he plays for money, not for the love towards the game or for the country. Then there is no biggest loser in the world like you.

Indian cricket : great days ahead!!
by Prabodh Jain on Sep 06, 2007 07:35 PM  | Hide replies

India has taken England to the wire in this series from 1-3 down!!
Simply put India has given headaches to England inspite of our poor feilding and shoddy bowling!!

If this average team is on the verge of winning the series, can you imagine what would have happened to England had we had Bhajji, Sehwag, Pathan and Kaif in the team??
You can just imagine what would have happened to England!!
So i feel even if Tendulkar calls it a day from ODIs, there is nothing to worry about!!

Nothing to worry about? who do you think has been giving India the momentum with these amazing starts to the innings? And if you recall Sehwag wasnt exactly scoring too fluently.....which is why he is out of the team.

Hi Bhavik
Has Vaughan been in the England team we should've been 6-0 up rather than 3-3.

Secondly Flintoff is in the team, his absence wasnt missed earlier in the ODI's. Indian batters never had trouble in facing him or any other English bowler although his batting would've helped England a bit but not by a big margin.

This Anderson bloke appears to be a better bowler than Hoggad but they miss Harmison though.

why 6-1, why not 6-0? flintoff was there one of our winning match! harmison as far as oneday concerned he is son, not harm!! had hoggard, jones been there, Indian would have scored more than 300 in all the matches! because our batsmen know their bowling areas. vaughan is not much threatning batsman than k peterson.

It is hard to believe that Agarkar is still playing with this kind of form . I fail to understand if Ramesh Pawar has been selected in the capacity of a bowler or a Batsman or is it a lobby game ?????
