First, let him get more chances. Its not that he does not want to play. Give me more chances. Where has be received chances like the others???? How many times ?. Hype would be created, becuase here is a man who has been made to sit on the bench for so long that he should have rusted long ago, but he didnt..and when indians needed some one badly..here he comes and saves india from the disgust.
Please gentlemen, its time we stopped this irrational fighting pertaining to regionalism. This is the biggest plague that is prevalent in our country. Its time we started taking pride in our nationality and realize that we are part of this wonderful country India. Cricket is just a sport and we will congratulate the team when they script such a good win. Please dont get regioncentric. Chakde India!
Indians changing their opinion about sachin again. tomorrow when sachin will fail to score in a few matches the same indians will curse him. not to mention just few weeks back people wanted him to retire. its going to be the same for uthappa. tomorrow when he will fail in few matches people will abuse him. people should learn to stick to their opinions under all circumstances or think ten times before becoming judgemental of someone.
He made the impossible possible and people are now praising him. Where were you guys when this guy was left out for 5 matches in a row? did you notice India's hopeless fielding in these matches and what difference Uthappa made in this match in fielding? I had great faith in Dravid and I have lost it now; you know why? not only he kept Uthappa out for these 5 matches, he sent him in a completely unfamiliar no.7 position. Uthappa should have batted at No.3 - we would not have reached this stage at all. Thank God Uthappa had in him that fighter spirit so common with the people from Coorg. When Indian fielding, including Karthick and Gambhir was messy, Uthappa was kept covered inside blankets!! When Sachin & Saurav were giving slow starts that had caused inadequate totals in the first 3 matches, this exciting cricketer was not picked. Thankfully the openers realised their mistakes, batted well and scored faster in the last 2 matches and we won. Fortunately for India's future, Uthappa did not fail, otherwise, they would not have given him another chance. In the absence of Sehwag, Uthappa is the only hope, especially in the first 20 overs of field restrictions with his innovative and powerful batting ability. Most importantly, he holds the record for most runs by an Indian debutant, a record that the great trio of Sachin, Saurav and Dravid dont have!!! They cite his temperament, but they hardly realise that such temperament is necessary in ODIs. He has 4 50s in 13 matches already!

As Indian team has taken inspiration from the movie CHakde India. In that movie in semi fianl match our crucial player has played and won the match for us. Like here Rahul Dravid and present coach Chandu Borde have implemented same plan as England bowlers and their captain abt Uthappa's skills when we observe uthappa's batting he is coming front foot to hit the ball and always successfully place it in leg side that's why he succeeded and England has failed to understand his strategy and lost the match.So any how Indians have won the match.Now it's going to be final in Lord's so hope everybody will contribute and bring victory to INDIA.

similar thing happened to suresh Raina......he had played a match winning knock of 81 against england and they said he was the future sachin.....but where has the future gonE>>????

AGNEL, first get a life.You are supporting him because he is a fellow Christian, how shameful.He does not even desrve to be in the team,He scored 113 runs in the last 13 innings.He scored a match winning 47 in the last match, but he does not deserve to be in the final 15 , just like Karthik does not deserve to be there. Dont use religion as a tool mate, use performance.

Sachin is legend. Sachin,Rahul, Sourav are best player of all the times. Kids like Uthappa have lot learn from these guys.

Pls dont being the State politics in between...Dint u see Chak De which says that we are all indians !! and not from the states !!...U south indians have a tendency to stick to ur people, ur movies, ur food, ur language, etc, etc!!...Pls be flexible and indians first and at the end pls learn ur Nationa language "Hindi" !!!!

Hey when state doesn't matter, Why did you use "U South Indians" does that makes maturity. We r indians not south Indians or north indians -- Keep this in mind.
