It is very good for Indian Crickt that the talent pool has been filled by the likes of Praveen Kumar. It takes a lot to reach at the level where he stands today.
But as usual, the media atention can distract the all much important concentration from the game. We request you media people to leave alone these cricketers and let them lead their lives.
Dont you people have any sport to cover? there are so many players in pther sports who meet with minor/major accidents off the field but do not get any attention.
Indian Sports Media should think twice about the story they are putting up. This is the main reason why India does not excel in other games. That means indirectly the Media doesn't want to cover other games [so minutely] than CRICKET just for the sake of MONEY???
I could say only few words for this exaggeration: Pathetic.... Disgusting.... Horrendeous..... etc.

Dude,this guy is from UP - the 2nd worst state in India (after Bihar). They don't have much to cheer about. So 1 of the guys gets in the team, they go overboard. Let them enjoy these moments.

Nop. We cannot say that. UP has produced some of the finest Athelets as well as the Hockey Players. When it comes to Cricket they have Mohd kaif, SUresh Raina, Piyush Chawla and now P Kumar... so the new generation is making waves in Indian cricket but that doesn't mean that there should be unnecessary coverages. Further have the media given so much attention to the players of other games from state???? NEVER!
Thus, this coverage is not healthy with reference to the growth of Indian Sports. And being an Indian I feel bad about it.
