Rahul is one the Best Player India will ever produce.. but when it comes to Sourav why u guys can't accept, just recollect the last series, the matches he dint play we were no where near to beat Australia.. come on guys if the opening patnership does not work the middle order never stands up for India in 50 overs match and u r talking abt 80 runs in 100 balls.. why don't u guys suggest to keep 11 sehwag and score 44 runs in 11 balls and finish the game sooner.
Why did u still keep him, move him out .. talking abt 20-20, the youngsters still dont hv the patience to play longer version of the game.. Scoring 10000 runs is not joke if u know Cricket.. Hope u get idle replacement of Sachin, Sourav and Dravid instead of disrespecting their achievements

Rahul must be in the team. You can't judge a player of his calibre from 3/4 matches.Even he has not got those chances appropriates.Ganguly budha will look for bigger partnerships and score 80/110 balls then when run rate is more than 7.5 call dravid to finsh the game. When he is padded to come at 3 you send him at somewhereelse. He will come back well with a match winning performance.Think it convinces you.

Rahul was never a match winner for One day cricket. But for test cricket he is defenitely a match winner. So, considering his poor form he should not be in the one day squad. Mr. Sravan, if BCCI tells Rahul to go back in domestic cricket and proove yourself (just like Ganguly) then all cricket lovers of the nation know the result. He doesnot have that much of mental strength to prove himself at that kind of situation. But then only he will realise his mistake, what he had done with Ganguly.

LOL...first of all Ganguly never proved himself in the domestic circuit to deserve a recall. He used political means to return. What happened to Ganguly is fair and dropping Dravid is a fair deal too. When was the last time SG won an one-day match? He takes too many balls to score his runs, poor fielding, running between the wkts etc compansates for whatever runs he scores.

Taking about chasing 317, 80 runs in 110 balls will not win matches. that is as good as taking 20 overs to score 80 runs...and you want the rest of the batsmen to score the remaining 240 runs 30 overs???

Ganguly is strike rate since his return is lower than his career strike rate. In 2007, a strke rate of 71 is no good.

What about Rahuls strke rate. During the period of his captaincy his strke rate is more than 80, otherwise less than 70.

Tax Payer Dhoni

I dont understand why rediff is finding strange in declaring Dhoini as the highest Tax payer. As a citizen his first duty is to pay his taxes (Currently we are overburdened by the taxes levied by chidamberam & his finance ministry)A good sportsmanship is is an example to other celebretis esp to Sachin who was not ready to pay the custom duty fr his Ferrari.Keepit up dhoni !!!!!!!!!. How many politicians, sports cricketers, stars & dignitories are avading the tax amount with all the ministers esp chidambaram????? can u tell us??????What is the total amount of tax paid by the FM & do anybody knows the assets he has accumulated?????????

Dear Serrao,
Its the Indian govt. that decided to waive off the tax for the Ferrari. Its more than the money which is involved in this precious gift by one of the greatest sportspersons that F1 has ever produced.
Sachin, for your information is one of the regular tax payers in our country, maintaining a clean chit. I am in this profession and I know about this. Dont write whatever you feel like.

No govt will waive of tax on its own unless approached for. And if we can pay tax better don't take gifts. Rule of land should be same for everybody and govt. should either make rule and that all high-value cars shud be tax-free or everyone should pay tax..
Saching is good player but so is a sweeper who does his job diligently.. Both needs to be respected and law should be same for both...

I dont know whats the big deal in it... He was earning like hell, just for wearing the blue uniform...! When u earn that much, obviously u need to pay a percentage to the Govt..

Now, what the Govt is doing with those money, no one knows..! Same roads, same facilities... same pathetic situations.. may be the money is to feed the politicians and their family...!

Now, rather than criticising the FM, start criticising the movie stars.. FM is bringing in some reforms... See that Rupee is going strong these days..! (some might not like it..)

What is the contribution of the movie stars to the society? How much tax are they payin? who is the highest tax payer in Bollywood..? :-p Rediff can bring out some articles abt these... in the coming days... he..he..

Our F.M is much richer than any rich indian. He is born rich, earned well to become more rich.Lived a life of luxury unlike many indians. And that is why his Finance related policies are very strange.. He feels everyone is like him. He has huge assests in his native village, sivaganga alone.
